In the reality we set. The Idea of leaping past yesterday into tomorrow seems ever more exciting. These green pastures are what I call my reality.. And My reality starts the same way everyday. As I lay asleep my consciousness runs just past the horizon into a brand new day, Honestly I can't remember what I was dreaming about.. But these green hills always seem to greet me the same way.....
Sitting just under a tree in the green, sunny pastures of this ranch lay a teen boy. Unconscious and dreaming, He seemed to give no attention to his surroundings. The peaceful sound of wind hitting the miles of grass drifted him into his own dream world and kept him there. The boy was no more than 17. His dark shaggy hair laid just across his right eye, Though the black strands would succumb to gravity and lay flat beside him as he was laid up against the tree in a black tank top, green cargo shorts, And low top sneakers. A red bandana slid onto his neck and seeming to come loose with all the time that had passed since he tied it on. Sitting on his stomach would be a small mouse like creature who had navy hue and closed unwavering eyes. This Cyndaquil would shake a moment in its sleep, Causing the boy to open his eyes and check on his friend. His golden pools would slowly slide open as if he hadn't been asleep the entire time and his hand would come up and pull his buddy right up onto his chest, Giving it a few soft pets to let it know it was in safe hands. Its fur was small but soft despite how it looked. Taking a deep breath the boy would look up at the sky and follow a cloud just over the farm house before a familiar voice could be heard from down the hill, just over the fenced gate of his Grandfathers ranch where Wooloo and Mareep grazed.
"Alright, Sonny! You've been taking your sweet time up there, now its time for me to be on my way!" His grandfather said looking up toward the boy. The man was wearing overalls and boots with a button down shirt to match his hard working aesthetic. The bandana he wore on his head dawning a similar pokeball symbol to the one his grandson had.
"Five more minutes gramps~ I had a long night!" The boy would yell back but of course the old timer wanted non of the lip.
"Damn it, Siren! Get your butt down here and wish me off!"
He would say in an agitated tone. This made Siren chuckle as it was humorous when the old man raised his voice. Slowly he would take hold of the Cyndaquil and set it on its shoulder, The creature quickly waking up and shaking its head to fight away the sleep as it balanced on the boys arm. As he made his way down the hill he could see it all. The two red farm houses he and his grandfather maintained. One being the main barn where they kept the eggs and sheep pokemon and the other being a two story house where he slept and washed up everyday. Ironically, despite coming from a big city, Siren wouldn't change that view for the world. Finally the boy would make it down to his grandfather and would grab his bags for the drive over to Sialt city airport.
"How long are you gonna stay in Johto again Gramps?" Siren was curious due to his Grandfathers habit of leaving things up to the last minute.
"A couple weeks sonny, Yer uncle needs help getting some of his daycare stuff in order so Ima gonna have to help him with that." The old man would way walking over towards the Taxi that was sitting in their drive way.
"Can you pick me up some lava cookies? Oh! and some Milk from Mary's farm!"
"Would ya calm down, I'm not heading over there to do no shoppin' It's just business and I'll be right home. Besides, You know yer aunts probably got a care package all made up for ya anyways." His grandfather would finally enter the taxi and wave to Siren."Remember to take care of the Mareep and Wooloo, Don't let em stay out too long and those eggs in the shack are gon hatch any day now, Keep a lookout."
"I got ya gramps, Don't worry too much and try to enjoy your flight okay? I'll call you when the eggs have hatched okay?"Siren would say smiling and tapping the top of the hood before getting out the cars way, The boys tired eyes glued onto the yellow car as it slowly pulled out of the farm and headed down the road. His grandfather waving to give him one final goodbye before the teen would sigh and look at his partner, Sitting ever patiently on his shoulder. "This is gonna be one hell of a summer, Innit Amber?" The Cyndaquil would yawn and nod "Cynda!".....**TO BE COUNTINED**
