A/N Im making Tanjiro weaker than he was at the end of the Manga

Narrator POV

 They spent the next few years always together in a happy and healthy relationship fighting demons looking for the remains of the demon society. This particular day was special, it wasnt an anniversary but it was a celebration of something. Something very important

Tanjiro walks down the empty halls of the butterfly mansion. 'Whym isnt there anyone here? Did they go somewhere?' Tanjiro is very confused, the butterfly mansion is always occupied by atleast one of the butterfly girls. "Shinobu-san! Kanao-san! Sumi-chan, Kiyo-chan, Naho-chan?" Tanjiro searching the empty rooms of the mansion searching for any sign of them. Tanjiro tired from walking because of a recent injury he sustained on a rescue mission from the former 5th moon. He decides to get some rest and goes back to his room.

Tanjiro's POV

"SUPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TANJIRO!" Everyone jumps out at me. Is that where they all were. "Everyone? Is this where you were?" I ask surprised and confused. I forgot my birthday was a thing when I joined the corps. " Sorry Tanjiro-kun, we had to hide from you for the surprise to work." They must have been planning this whole day! Thats so thoughtful of them, this is why I fell in love with them. I jump into a hug from all of them. Everyone is here, even the master! I pull out of the hug to ask "Who organized all of this? This must have taken lots of planning." To my suprise Nezuko stepped forward. (Nezuko has kept her demon strength even though she is human) I run into her pulling my sister into a hug, she hugs back with her demonic strength but right now Im too happy to care. "Thank you Nezuko" I say as I stroke her hair. "THIS IS TOO BORING, MONJIRO FIGHT ME! ILL GO EASY AS  A GIFT." As Inosuke says that I smell a large killing intent towards him.

Giyuu POV

Inosuke is too dumb for his own good, he just attracted cold glares from Sanemi, Iguro, and Muichiro. "Well he is partially right its getting a little boring. So lets get started with the festivities!" I say. The next few hours were spent celebrating, it was great to give back to him after all hes done for us. I cant count how many times hes helped me through tough times. I wanted for this to continue forever unfortunately good news comes at bad times. 

Narrator POV

A delivery slayer bursts into the room where they were having the party. "They think we finally found the last of him!" The slayer shouts immediately all of them rush out to the main house to discuss this. You see when Muzan died, in order to stay alive he scattered 10 of his fingers in various places across Japan. The hiding spots were always heavily guarded with armies of demons guarding each finger. The corps managed to find and destroy 9 of the fingers in 2 years. The 10th finger has yet to found. The corps has been searching for the 10th for a year trying to end this once and for all.
