"Momma where is the rest of the plates we got to set up for the guest coming over "

Mamma K walked in the dinning room with the oven mitts in her hand giving me that look
"Tonia did you look In side the cabinet next to the glass one "

I mentally rolled my eyes
"Momma if I ain't look in their why would I be calling you"

"Antonia did you look at the top of the cabinet instead on only the bottom"

I looked up and sure enough the plates where their

I turned around and gave a light smile

"Well what do you know momma they appeared thanks "

"Make me sick whatever child just hurry up and set the table"

I laughed and looked up
Now how am I going to get to that

I grabbed one of the chairs and tippy toed on it get the plates
I got it down then set up the table just in time for the door to ring

" Go get the door Tonia while I go and set the food on the table"

I quickly put the chair back fixed my blouse and skirt (and no not no dam skimpy looking skirt and blouse yuh heard 😂lol) and looked through the peep whole and smiled

"DADDY "
I smiled extra hard

"No look at you now got your mommas genes looking like a full blown Asian child "

My smiled dropped and I straight faced him and he just laughed

"I'm just playing but I brought some people I want you to meet "

I looked up at the 4 people here

"Tonia meet Shawn, Chris ,Rowland and August "

I waved and smiled they did the same

They all looked around my age (She is 17 )

"Tonia oh I almost forgot meet my old friend from back in the day Lucas "

He looked about in his late 30s

My father is only 38

Lucas smiled and it kinda creeped me out

"Well sorry to interrupt everyone's convo but the food is ready " my mother came around the corner saying she smiled and my fathers smiled back at her

"We are coming women "

"Rome watch it cause you might just not get any food "

"Aye aye your heard the women get yall asses in the dinning room right now before the food get cold "

He said rushing in front of everyone I shaked my head

"He a trip" "foreal Tho" I turned around to see August and Shawn laughing and they looked at me August licked his lips and I just rolled my eyes i let them pass me August turned around and looked at me

"Sorry but your taking my face"
He smirked and I just rolled my eyes he laughed then walked away into the dinning room

I turned around to see that man Lucas
"Um sorry to interrupt but are you coming in"

He looked up and had this type of look with a smile I can't explain

"Um yea I'm just making a call tell your father I'll be in a bit "

I nodded then walked in the dinning room taking a seat by momma just before they was about to say grace

"Father in heaven I thank you again for making me ,my family, and family friends for seeing another blessed I thank you good for everything you have done for everyone one sitting at this table and I would love for you to bless this food on Jesus name I say "
"AMEN"
After that everyone went in

10mins later

"Chris This your almost 3rd plate what are you doing " I laughed

"You ain't know a boy got to eat good guh"

"But you taking all my food too what you talking about "

" He said he has to take a few ca-"

The room went dark

"YO WHAT THE FUCK BRUH " August yelled out

A few seconds later the lights came back on

"Well that was not so bad my momma said "

"Oh shut tf up "
Everyone turned around to see 4 men standing their with ski mask

It's like on que Chris ,Shawn,Rowland,August and my father pulled out their guns I ducked under the table

At that moment everything seemed like it was going slow

All I heard was arguing back and forth then

"Just know I'm killing your most loved ones one by one "

I heard footsteps running out the door

I was so scared to look up from the table

Everyone was gone except for my father and Shawn I looked over the table to see blood coming from my mommas head
"NOO MOMMA NOO "

I ran over to her limp body and saw her closing her eyes slowly watching new

"Mommy no please don't die on me "

I started shaking her and no response

I stated crying so hard Shawn pulled me into a hug I heard police sirens outside and the rest of the boys ran back in

He just stared blankly into the wall

"Shh it's going to be ok Antonia " Shawn said still rocking me back and forth

"I shacked it off and got up and stood in front my dad "

He snapped out of it "ready for what"
I pulled out the small handgun I had in my bra that my father bought me
He smirked
"Welcome to the team Tonia and don't remember "

"Family stick together even after all the bad " we all said in unison

I smirked

"Karma's a bitch watch out "
