Previous chapter: 'a guy, as my roommate.' So many things had happened today, just the thought of men kinda creeped me out. Before I knew it, I had a knock on my door, and you wouldn't believe who it is. 'You've gotta be f-cking kidding me..'

(Clay's POV)
I opened my dorm room door after I heard a knock, and I couldn't believe who my roommate was.. "Dream! What are the odds were roommates?!" The brunet said, he was way too excited for this, I simply plastered a smile and shook my head in agreement. "Yea, it's really cool, we get to be roommates." I lied, I didn't hate him or anything, I just enjoyed my time alone.
(3rd person POV)
George had the great idea to go get food with Clay, so they did. They mainly talked about themselves and gave a better introduction. Dream ended up ranting about his toxic girlfriend and got good advice from George: "End it. If you aren't happy, there's no point in being in the relationship." That was smart. That was really smart. Clay Eventually got to liking George, he didn't annoy him as much as he thought he would, he was chill. George wasn't in a relationship, either, being as this was his first year going to this school, but then again it was the same for Clay. He had lived in Britain his whole life, but this specific collage was on the other side of the city than he lived in. Now, Clay had noticed the pin on the brunets shirt that morning, and decided to ask about it. "Hey George, if you don't mind me asking, what is the pin for on your shirt?" to his advantage, he didn't stutter. "Oh, it's my pride pin! I personally like to 'show off'" he said in finger quotes. "my sexuality, it's really just to show that I'm in the community and I appreciate the other people in it." He explained, he didn't sound mad that Dream had asked. "Oh cool.. So you're.. Gay I'm assuming?" Clay still had more questions, but he was taking it one step at a time. "Yes I am! I am only interested in non-woman identifying people." He said with a soft smile. "I-im sorry for asking so many questions," he stuttered again. ", but could you elaborate on 'non-woman? I just don't know much about, like that whole community." He admitted, and that was the truth, he didn't know much.
They spent about an hour and a half at the restaurant in total, discussing gender identity, sexuality, and Dream was learning new things, to say the least. He understood it, he wasn't necessarily 'for it' but wasn't completely against it. And they eventually made their way back to the dorm, settling in their own rooms for the night. Clay had had what felt like an eternity long day, it wasn't long before he was asleep. George on the other hand, just scrolled through his phone for a bit, losing track of time and finally falling asleep somewhere around 2am.

*Ring* *Ring* *Ring* His alarm was blaring in hear earphones yet again. 'I really need to stop sleeping with headphones in.' Clay thought to himself. He quickly got himself ready, he wanted to have enough time to go to a coffee shop nearby before his classes started. He quietly scooped up his keys, headphones, wallet, and his phone, practically running out the door and he jogged the hallway.
Lucky for him, he made it just in time to grab a coffee and a small piece of lemon bread before running out and driving back to campus.
(Clay's POV)
Once I had finally gotten back to school, I headed twords my first class, before I walked in the door I took only one earbud out, placing it back in its case and shutting it with a small 'click' noise. I walked through the door calmly and took a seat and caught up on some work I hadn't finished yesterday.
Before I knew it, another day at university was finished. I finally got the freedom to go back to my car and go back to ever so quiet dorm. 'My dorm. Ugh I keep forgetting I have a roommate. Whatever.'

I turned the knob slowly, enough for the smell of vanilla quickly striking my nose; vanilla is my favorite. "George?" I say, loud enough you could only hear it through the kitchen and first room. "Yea, I'm in the kitchen!" He shouted back. I simply walked through the doorway and entered the kitchen; it was cake. "Oh hey Clay! I got bored, so I made a cake for us, that is if you want it." "Of course, I love cake, vanilla right?" "Correct!" seeing him excited made me happy, like a warm feeling in my stomach.
What- no it didn't.
I think...
