{Jack P.O.V.}
I glanced over at Katherine or Kc its gonna be weird adjusting to her nickname. I have no idea how I am going to to break the news that I am only here for a visit. After we moved to California from Australia it was hard for are parents to find work. Our dad was always drunk. Our mom was a Cocaine addict they would always beat us. Our dad once raped Kc. It was horrible I remember dad saying Kc was sick and going to stay home from school that day. I went to school. I was afraid of what Dad was going to do to her. I walked into class and started on what our sixth grade teacher Ms.Clemen assigned us to do. Then suddenly two cops came into our classroom the teachers face went white as she was talking to the cops.
"Jack come here get your things, your going with these nice men." Ms.Clemen said.
"Wh-" I started to say.
"Just go please." she said with hostility in her tone.
Literal confusion. (A/N LOLZ THATS SOMETHING JACK WOULD TOTALLY SAY)
I followed the police men to the squad car. (A/N SQAUD GOING UP ON A TUESDAY i had to) "Am i getting arrested?" I asked. "No son we are going down to the police station we have to ask some questions about life at home." one of them said. I didn't know if i should tell them about our parents or not. Once we arrived at the police station. Fear took over my body. Then I realized where the hell is Kc. "Come here Jack I am going to ask you some questions ok" a police woman said. I nodded
(P=Police Person J=Jack)
P:Do your parents drink or do drugs at all?
J:My Mom does cocaine and my Dad drinks a lot Where is my sister?
P:She is with us something happend at the house. Have your parents ever hit hard?
J:My Mom and Dad all the time to me and my sister
P:Thank you Have they left any marks bruises cuts , scars?
J: I lifted up my shirt revealing all the bruises and cuts on my stomach and back.
P: Ok then
My thoughts were interrupted when Connor said "You ok?"
"Why would you ask I'm fine" I said
"Your crying" He said. I quickly wiped away my tears. "Is your sister always this quiet?"
"I have no clue. This is the first time I have seen her in six years she did have a couple good guy friends in school they would always get in trouble when we lived in Australia. I responded glancing over at my sister she was looking out the window a blank expression on her face.
"Were here." Ricky said. Once we all got inside we sat down and ordered. I noticed Kc ordered a something small.
"Kc my wonderful daughter this if for you it had everyones phone number that you will ever need on it plus a few social media apps we already set up accounts on them." Connor said handing over a silver iPhone 5. She nodded and took it.
