Chapter 12

As the room filled with the delicious smell. Everyone quietly looked around confused as to what exactly was Pepper's plan.

Thor was currently sleeping and began muttering about pop tarts and how sweet they smell. However, he began to smell a pop tart burning just like the first time he had heated one up and jumped up.

Everyone jumped back startled because they were not expecting Thor to just wake up and shoot up. Except Pepper herself (really the woman had no sense of self preservation at times).

Thor looked in horror as Pepper herself was burning his beloved pop tarts. He tried to glare at her and intimidate her so she would stop.

Instead she stood strong against him and glared at him as she grabbed another pop tart and brought it up to the flames.

Thor jumped and every single Avenger almost ran out of the room because despite it all Thor was the god of Thunder.

Pepper continued to glare. "Where is your brother?" She said in a chilling voice. It sent shivers down everyone's spines even Thor stopped in shock and horror.

He responded carefully. "Lady of Potts I do not know where my brother is located but why are you burning the most beautiful creation ever created on this Earth?"

Pepper glared at him and continued to dangle the pop tart extremely close to the fire. While Thor literally almost had a heart attack. "He took my baby. I may know he would not inflict harm but that does not mean there is not anything I will not do to get him back."

Thor blinks a little in surprise but at the end he is not as surprised as he should be since he knows his brother is rather fond of the man "child" of spiders. However, did he really have to piss off the lady of peppers? She is one frightening woman.

Pepper raised an eyebrow. Ready to start burning another pop tart.

That caused Thor to snap out of it. He began to stamer out a response, "Lady of Potts, Lady of Peppers, please, um, leave the innocent pop tart alone, please I will give you anything. I will do anything. I beg of you."

The Avengers mouth fell open when they saw the god of thunder practically on his knees begging Pepper.

Pepper glared and stopped from burning the pop tart to Thor's relief, "so how are you going to help me get Peter back?"

Thor sighed in relief as Pepper did not burn the pop tart. While he should feel bad about the fact he was about to sell out his own brother, if it was in order to save the precious pop tarts that had done nothing wrong to deserve that mistreatment, then he would do it again and again every single time.

Pepper, extremely impatient, began to move the fire closer to the pop tart again causing Thor to snap out of his thoughts.

He spoke quickly, "I can take you to him since I know where he would be in a safe place he has. Just give me one hour to be ready and I will take you there. I have to verify he has not switched..."

Pepper glares and gives him the pop tart and nods. "1 hour no more than that. Or the rest of the pop tarts are getting burned and yes I know about your "secret hiding place". So do not test me."

Thor nodded quickly grabbing the pop tart and gently looking over it and looking back at Pepper in fear.

Pepper glared and turned around and began to stomp out of the room still enraged.

Thor, while terrified, had to admit he was impressed and looked at Tony. "Damn Pepper is an incredible woman Stark. I am kind of jealous."

Tony turned and glared in pure jealousy at Thor. As he obviously did not like the comment he had said. He was not insecure but come on Thor was a god so it was understandable he was not happy with the response that he had given.
