The sting of this new, but refreshing taste burns my throat, capturing every problem and swallowing it up. I close my eyes and take another swig, The pain slowly evaporates, taking over every ounce of my body and filling all the broken holes with a sour, but sweet taste.
With every drink I take, my mind gets more fuzzy and fuzzy, drowning out all the noise of music and loud, drunk conversations.
My lips collide with the bottle once more, but then the bottle is softly taken from my hands, a low tingling trails up my hand.
"What the-" My mind is buzzing, I can't form a sentence properly. My eyesight is blurry, blocking out all my senses.
"Hey." I hear a voice. A sexy voice. I recognize the voice. It's a soothing voice. It's... It's Ferris' voice. A smile spreads across my face as I somehow take the bottle back from him and bring it back to my lips, chugging the remainder of the drink. As I remove the bottle, Ferris is smiling back to me, his grin wider than ever. I look into his eyes, noticing that he has a grey outline surrounding his dark brown eyes. However, there's nothing behind his eyes, no life, no emotion. Just a smile and sharp, pointy cheekbones.
I find that I can't look away from his lifeless eyes, as he leans closer towards my ear.
"Heyyy Ferrris." I slur, poking my finger into his chest. My heart leaps out of my chest as his fingers wrap around my wrist, sending a tingling feeling through my body, pulling it away from him and closer to me. My arm stops next to my chest, Ferris' fingers still wrapped around it.
Through the corner of my eye, I see a figure walking towards me, I quickly unwrap Ferris' fingers and stand up straight. Sophia stands in front of me, frowning as she sees my state.
"Did you drink?" She asks, eyeing me with great suspicion.
"Nooo," I say, slurring my words.
As I look to the side, I see that Ferris has disappeared, leaving me alone with Sophia.
"I left Christina on the dance floor, and here you are completely wasted."
I hear her sigh, but she can't hide the smile that is forming on her lips.
"Let's go." She takes my hand and drags me through the crowds of people and onto the dance floor. My eyes scan the group for Christina and I see her rubbing her ass on a random guy. I quickly take her hands and spin her around, jumping and dancing crazily with my best friend.
For a moment, I forgot about Ferris and my dad, and the phone call we just shared, telling me to come home.
A/N: I know.
This book is so cheesy, I'm actually cringing whilst reading it. But I have to remind myself that I wrote it when I was 13 and I was very immature and...erm... young so it's truly not my best work.
I added face pictures! If you check out the character aesthetics, you'll see how I visualise my characters.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
