AN: Up top is Jess's wedding dress in my mind. I was too lazy to describe it so I just put the picture in. Lmk if it works or not :)

I wake up to the ear penetrating alarm on my phone. Not the most magical thing to wake up to on your wedding day. I rummage through my duffel bag to find my hairbrush when something falls out of the pocket. It must've been the thing Darcy was telling me about last night. I smile when I see what it is. Picking up the tiny origami swan, I gently hug it to my chest.

At our library dates in high school Darcy used to make me these when he finished his homework before me. There would be cute little notes or jokes inside. I was always hesitant to unfold them to find the note because they were so pretty. What guy makes little origami swans for his girlfriend? He's literally perfect.

I take a picture and then gently unfold it. It wasn't a note, instead it was a drawing, well an attempt at one. Two tiny stick people, one with a braid and one with a bunch of scribbles on top of his head. Their little stick hands are together, and a heart hovering above them. In the corner there's a circle scribbled out and an arrow pointing at it. The small writing says oops I messed up here :( and I laugh to myself. I take out my phone and text Darcy as I make my way downstairs.

Me: Thank you for that artistic masterpiece. Picasso is jealous of your skills <3

Darcy: I'm just going to ignore the sarcasm.

"JESS GET OVER HERE WE ONLY HAVE ONE HOUR TO GET YOU READY" I look up from my phone to see Becca pacing around the kitchen. Megan grabs my shoulders and shoves me down onto a stool.

"Why do we only have an hour?"

Savannah glares at Cassidy. "This girl decided to tell us we had to be at your parents' house at 11:00, turns out it was 10:00."

Becca wastes no time and wipes a cloth over my face, prepping my skin for a small layer of makeup. Meanwhile Megan works on an intricate fancy Dutch braid, glancing back and forth between multiple Pinterest references. Cassidy attempts to figure out Megan's unnecessarily fancy coffee maker and Emma brings over the newly ironed wedding dress. Megan tailored it just to me, and we both decided I'd rather look good than be warm, so the dress is sleeveless. After the hair and makeup, they gently slide it over my head, and then apply the finishing touches. After tucking little white flowers into the braid twists and last swipes of mascara and lip gloss, we head off.

Emma shivers in the car. "Jess you're going to be freezing."

Savannah waves her off. "You know how cute the pictures will be when Jess has Darcy's jacket on with her wedding dress under it. She's so tiny compared to it, it'll look so cute."

"What about the whole Ceremony? Are my teeth gonna chatter as I say I do?" I retort.

"Trust me you'll be so in love you won't even notice." She pretends to swoon.

Cassidy scoffs. "And this, Savannah, is why your still single."

"And this, Cassidy, is why I put gum on your pillow."

"You guys look so cute!" I cry. Taking pictures of my gorgeous bridal party in their blue dresses and braids. We made it to my parent's house, and are hiding in the keeping room as we wait for the ceremony to begin.

My mom bumps my hip. "Get in there, hon. You're the bride." She takes my phone and I join their cluster.

"Everybody say Cheese!"

"Cheddar!" Cassidy exclaims.

"That wasn't funny." Megan deadpans. "At all."

Cassidy sighs. "Trust me I already regret it."
