The three Pogues walk back to the chateau and start explaining what happened at Ms. Lana.

'wait before i start- look at this shit.' jj says rubbing his hands in his hair making all the paint fall out.

'that's dandruff , disgusting.' kie says

'okay. thank you. pope adds.

right?Thats paint. At that point i was just,like.. waiting for death. Then el ran in and tackles them and it was all kinda crazy.'

'Okay so the point is, you saw the guys that shot at us,right?pope snaps

'yeah.' el infers.

'Did you get a good description of them? What did they look like?Anything we can bring to a police report maybe?'pope questions

'burly.'

'burly.'pope repeats.

'yeah.'

'you know, like the type of guys at my dads garage. I mean , you guys know he made cargo hides for drug smugglers.'

'the people at your dads garage? what do you mean by that JJ?' el asks.

'uh,uh. It's nothin' alright?'

El sat back thinking about what he meant. She knew
something was up and it was something they were all hiding from her. She chewed her lip in confusion before rolling a blunt and letting her thoughts loose.

' I can tell you with full confidence guys, these boys, these killers, they're square groupers.'

'They're square groupers , like narco square grouper?'

'yeah,man.' el added.

'Okay so what do they look like?' pope questions looking at jj seriously before tuning to el.

'i don't know.' jj replies

Pope and kie star getting annoyed at JJ so el steps in and backs him up.

'you know guys, you weren't there . You can't except us to be taking little mental polaroids the entire time, we were under duress , okay? so shut the fuck up with your whining . this shit is so pathetic .' el snaps getting up and throwing her blunt on the ground, before walking away into the distance.

'El-' pope shouts

'el we didn't mean to' kie adds.

'el wait up! ' jj says as he runs towards her.

JJ walks with el for ages and ages before they stop at the beach to sit down and have a chat.

'so,you alright?'

'yeah,it's just that, they expect us to always have the answers,or know everything . I'm just sick of it you know, it's bullshit. Like we can't even help without them having a go at us or doing something wrong or saying something wrong.'

'true , they can piss off if they do it again' jj chuckles.

'hey el, you wanna do something fun?' jj asks.

'follow me.'

El follows JJ into a surfing shop where JJ hires surf boards so they can spend the evening surfing on the beach together, just them.
