"Ash!!! It's time for you to get to the pokémon center, unless you wanna be late!!" Mom stormed through the door with an angry look. - - - I run down the neighborhood to the pokémon center, in my pajamas. - - - I catch myself face to face with the professor. "Alright, Ash.." Here we go. I thought. I looked relentlessly at the poke balls in front of me with a glaring shimmer in my eyes. Professor Oak was explaining something to me, but i wasn't listening. MY FIRST POKÉMON!!! I was too focused that I forgot I was in my pajamas. Professor Oak noticed and gave a nervous chuckle. "Anyway..We have three. This one here is Squirtle, This one is Charmander, And this one.." He stopped to look at me. "Isn't it Bulbasaur?" I decided to break the silence. " Well- technically- Yes, but everyone already chose all of them. So we have another one.." I felt my eyes glow up. Another one? "Meet..Pikachu." I stared at the imparticular pokémon that was sitting in front of me. "I'll take it!!!" I grabbed Pikachu. "ASH, BE CAREFU-" Bzzt. "Pika?" Pikachu shocked me. I felt dizzy, but I loved him. I grabbed the pokeball. "Retur-" Pikachu slapped the pokeball and climbed onto my shoulder. I smiled. "See you later Professor Oak!!!" I said running back home with Pikachu on my shoulder.
