Chapter 11

Stefan burst into tears 'this is all because of me. I failed to protect her'. Jake consoled him 'you can't be weak right now. We have to plan something to trap George'. Stefan agreed to him 'yes, but before that we need to find out why he is trying to kill her'.

Stefan called up few people to find out more about George. He requested Jake to get him out of the hospital. Jake nodded and said 'but you will not go anywhere without me'. Jake contacted few hospital staff to get him out soon. After an hour, Stefan got a call from a source and said 'George and Daniel went to Doctor Mathew'. Stefan questioned him 'Dr. Mathew?' he replied 'yes sir, he is a psychiatrist. I spoke to him...he informed me that they were the weirdest people he came across. They were not ready to disclose anything about the patient and wanted to know that if a person loses her memory long time back, is it possible for her to regain it?' He said 'okay' and disconnected the call.

Jake entered the room with a nurse and told Stefan that they don't have much time and they have to leave immediately. While driving back home Jake asked Stefan 'have you got any information about George?' He replied 'not much but I think now I know the reason why he want to kill Sarah'. Jake asked him curiously 'why?' he replied 'drive fast, I will explain everything once we reach home'. Jake smiled 'if I am not wrong you already made a plan, didn't you?'

George blindfolded Sarah and drove her to a different place. Her hand was tied with a rope and her mouth was covered with tape. She was in tears as she could barely breathe. Sarah was sure about one thing that Stefan will rescue her. As soon as they reached there, George removed the blindfold and said furiously 'once I get the proof, I will kill you because you're responsible for everything'. She cried out loud by saying 'why you want to kill me? leave me'. He laughed evilly 'you're the one who was regaining the memory through your nightmares...you have even shared this problem with your uncle'. She questioned him 'so what's wrong with that?' He revealed everything to Sarah about the past. She shouted 'you already got my father's shares, now leave me'. He grabbed her one arm and said 'but the problem was only two people survived and witnessed the culprit's faces, Stefan lost his memory permanently but you started to regain it. This was the reason I planned your murder but Stefan saved you so many times. Police had a doubt on Daniel...I gave him one chance to kill you but he couldn't so I murdered him and framed that stupid Jake. Again Stefan saved Jake. I don't know why my son doesn't want me to live happily. When I saw that he came instead of Jake, I thought to kill him as well but he was lucky as you guys reached there'.

The whole night George tortured Sarah by keeping her in a dark room...tied with a chair. She was thirsty and couldn't even scream for help. She was in a miserable condition. Sarah thought she will starve to death and was hoping that Stefan will come soon.

The next morning, George texted Jake to come to the old house. Jake was totally unaware of the house and asked Stefan about it. He replied 'it's my house where I spent my childhood with my mom'. They left to rescue her. While Stefan was driving, Jake informed the cops about everything. Stefan instructed Jake 'you have to go alone inside to give the proof as George is still thinking that I am in the hospital. You know George will definitely try to kill you both'. Jake replied by showing him the gun 'don't worry, we will be fine and this is just for safety...I will not use it unnecessarily'. Stefan said worriedly 'please, don't do anything stupid as we need to punish him by the law'. He said with a weird face 'uhmm'. Stefan said 'I hope you remember our plan'. Jake recalled the plan of Stefan saying 'I want you to go inside alone...we will put mini hidden cameras in your jacket so that we can punish him for Sarah's kidnapping as well'. After he recalled Stefan's words 'he said with confidence 'we will catch him today'.

Sarah saw the sunlight on her face and slowly opened her eyes. Her vision was blurred as she was very weak. She tried looking around her, few goons were chatting with each other while starring at her. She was scared to death seeing their faces. She was apprehensive about the situation. Suddenly George came from behind and bend towards her shoulder and said with a low pitch 'are you feeling scared of them? You should be because I changed my mind. Once I get the proof, I will not kill you. I will give you to them and if they want to finish you, it's their choice'. Sarah cried and started screaming 'leave me. Someone help me...Stefan, please come soon.' She started praying 'oh god, please save me'.
