Cringing slightly, Jingyi put his plate in the sink. A large thump sounded from up stairs had both boys looking to Jingyi's parent's room.
"Dad?! What was that?!" Jingyi asks seemingly unfazed.
The door rushed open and nei mingjue's head popped out looking flushed, his hair was messy and there was a small hickey on his shoulder.
"Oh uh haha yeah everything's fine! D-do you boys think you can stay at a friends house tonight?" He said with a small smile.
Jingyi's face paled. "YES WE'LL GO TO JIN LINGS GOODBYE UNCLE MINGJUE!" Shizue screened and dragged Jingyi out the door.
