Last night when Tara and I went to be with Gemma at the garage the guys came home which was a surprise. 

though it wasn't a happy ordeal since they looked unpleased about something. they said nothing to us ladies just went different ways. Jax went towards the garage while the others followed Clay towards the clubhouse.

Gemma and Tara shared a look while I watched bobby shut the clubhouse door and Jax shut the side door to the Garage.

The next day they went about handling business as if nothing was wrong. So I went about my workday before I checked in on my niece and nephew only Lyla had them so for now I let them be.

I headed home and took a shower getting ready for Gemma's potluck. 

I decided to make something so I picked up the ingredients I'd needed before I headed on over and got started on it.

When Gemma showed up she got checked on the roast beef that was cooking in the oven while some of the croweaters were messing with other things. I of course made sure they washed their hands before handling food.

"Hey baby girl what are you fixing?"

"My infamous German Chocolate cake," I answered as I poured the batter into the pans and slipped them into the oven

"Can't wait to have some its been a long time since you've made it," she says

"Yea. I just about forgot how to." I joked

She smiled before she puts the pan down on top of the stove.

"Gemma I need to talk to you," Tara says as she walked into Gemma's house.

Gemma walks over to where she is and they talk about whatever while I focus on my cakes.

Once that's taken care of, the cakes cooled down and the icing applied I slipped them in the fridge.

After offering my helping and helping some of the croweaters I wash my hands again and walk into the dining area where my niece and nephew are. I walked over and hugged them both before kissing their heads as they hug me back.

"Hey" Lyla greets

"Perfect serving hand jobs for dessert" Tara says

"that's real nice in front of the kids" Lyla states as she places whatever she made on the table.

Kenny and Ellie weren't paying what Tara said any mind they were talking with me.

I kissed their heads again before I pulled out two chairs. while Lyla storms outta the house.

"Alright listen to you two." I say as I squat between Kenny and Ellie.

they look at me.

"whatever you will hear whether it be yelling, cursing, or whatnot. I want you both to tune it out. you don't need to hear any of it." I tell them

"we will" they assured me

"good," I said before standing up and checking on Gemma.

The sounds of some of the guys approaching could be heard so the adding of the drama about to occur and possibly fighting. 

Which is what happens at the Samcro family dinners a great majority of the time.

Jax and Bobby walk in so my brother must be tending to Lyla.

Jax goes over to talk with Tara while bobby offers his help.

"don't you mess with those cakes in the fridge Bobs or you and I will have issues" I play around

"Wouldn't dream of it darling" he says

I smiled before turning my attention back to my niece and nephew.

When I heard what Tara said about if she keeps hanging with this family and sucking cock I held my tongue. 

I walked into the kitchen and pick up a couple of dishes as Gemma and the others walkout.

"Come on everybody," Gemmas says ignoring Jax asking her what happened.

Opie and Lyla walked in and stood behind Ellie and Kenny before Gemma told us to sit down.  I placed the food down alongside the others.

the rest of the guys show up and I smile before walking up to Happy and kissing him.

"You ok?" I asked

He just looks at me and I know the answer.

I nodded my head and don't ask anything else.

And that's when the shit show happened.

So after pecking Happy on the lips I move out of the firing range and grab Tara moving her. she looks at me and I shake my head before I nudge Gemma away too.

Tig and Bibby start to fight and Opie pulls Bobby back by his Kutte while the others pull Tig back.

Opie stands between them telling Clay that Jax and bobby were helping him. then Jax talks about payback. 

They continue on when Hale walks through the door.

After a few more words were tossed back and forth Hale speaks up.

"sorry to interrupt but you all need to hear this." he starts

We all look at him.

"We found Luann dead over the side of the road. we have no leads on what happened or who done it." Hale says

I looked at Gemma watching as she gets upset. I rub her back in a comforting way.

" I'm sorry," Hale says before taking his leave. 

The guys start back up again. Tig goes after Bobby and the guys go to break them up. The yelling and screaming continue till Gemma picks up a plate and slams it down making them break up and look at her. she huffs before sinking down in the chair I pulled out for her.

I rub her shoulders and she pats the top of my hand.

I looked over at Ellie and Kenny and they look at me. I give them a smile which they give back.

We all stand and sit in silence.
