T.W.: panic attack
Tubbo laughed as he ran around the village. The small town was completely isolated by a dome of ice. The group was basically a huge ice skating ring.
"Ranboo!" Tubbo smiled, sliding over to his platonic husband, "this is awesome!"
Ranboo smiled lightly, "I'm glad you like it. Where's Tommy?"
"He should have been right behind-" Tubbo looked around, not able to find his friend.
"Tommy!?" Tubbo called, running back though the town, "Tommy!"
"Tommy!" Ranboo yelled as well, searching through the town.
Tubbo ran, slipping on the ice under him as he looked for his friend. He should have kept a closer eye on Tommy. Maybe it was a bad idea all together to get him out of his house.
Then he saw Tommy curled up at the edge of the wall. Tubbo sprinted faster, sliding a few feet before dropping next to his friend.
"Tommy!" Tubbo reached out to the panicking boy, "Tommy, it's okay! I'm here!"
"Tubbo!" Ranboo gasped as he knelt by them, "what's happening? Why is he panicking?"
"I don't know!" Tubbo said, "Tommy! Tom look at me!"
"T-Tubbo?" Tommy whimpered, grabbing Tubbo's arm.
"I'm here Tom." Tubbo smiled, "look at me. I'm here."
Ranboo's eyes widened, "I... I don't think he can..."
"Wha-what do you mean?" Tubbo asked, holding Tommy's hand tightly.
"I think he's blind..." Ranboo whispered.
Tubbo's eyes went wide, "no... How could he-!? No!"
"Tubbo," Tommy sniffed, his voice shaking, "Ranboo's right. I can't see anything."
"Tommy..." Tubbo threw his arms around his friend, "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"
"It's okay Tubbo." Tommy said, his breathing evening out.
"When-when did it happen?" Ranboo asked, placing a hand on Tommy's back.
"E-exile." Tommy whimpered, "Dream he-"
Tommy cut himself off, hugging Tubbo tighter.
Tubbo grit his teeth, "first he takes your disks, then your wings, and now this!? What more does he want!?"
"I don't know..." Tommy said quietly.
Ranboo sighed softly, "so you've been blind this whole time..."
Tommy nodded. Tubbo pulled away from the hug slightly.
"Do you wanna go home?" Tubbo asked.
Tommy nodded again. Tubbo and Ranboo helped Tommy to his feet, making sure to keep him within arms reach at all times. The two guided him though the hole in the ice. It was quiet as they walked back to Ranboo's house.
"I can walk on my own." Tommy said as Tubbo refused to let him go.
Tubbo immediately let go, "sorry."
"We're almost to the cabins." Ranboo told them, gently guiding Tommy away from falling in a frozen lake, "it's getting late. You guys should stay for the night."
Tommy sighed heavily, "fine!"
Tubbo laughed lightly, "maybe you can get Techno to make some pancakes tomorrow morning. You remember Techno's pancakes Tommy?"
"Yeah." Tommy smiled, "Techno makes the best pancakes."
Ranboo opened the door to his house, a small smile on his face, "you two go up to the bedroom. I'll find some extra beds."
Tubbo nodded. Tommy dragged his fingertips along the wall as he explored the small room. His foot hit the stairs and he almost fell, but Tubbo caught him.
"You okay?" Tubbo asked.
Tommy nodded, "yeah. Can... Can you help me?"
"Of course boss man." Tubbo took Tommy's arm, helping him walk up the stairs.
Tommy carefully made his way up each step. It was easier when Tubbo was helping him. He wondered if he should try and memorize the layout.
"Alright, there's a bed to your left." Tubbo told him.
Tommy reached out to feel the soft sheets. He sat down with a sigh, feeling the bed dip next to him.
"So, um, how do you get around?" Tubbo asked, glancing at his friend.
Tommy shrugged, "I memorized all the paths and shit."
"Really?" Tubbo smiled, "that's cool."
Tommy smiled softly, "it was really scary at first."
"Walking around the SMP?" Tubbo asked.
"Being blind." Tommy shuddered slightly, "when Dream... blew up Logstedshire, the explosions blinded me. Somehow I made it to Techno's cabin. I probably would have died if Techno didn't help me."
"Does Techno know?" Tubbo pulled his legs up on the bed.
Tommy shrugged, "I dunno. He gave me stuff for the burns, but he never checked my eyesight or anything."
Ranboo walked up the stairs, smiling softly, "I'm back."
Tubbo grinned at his platonic husband, "hey Boo."
Ranboo hummed as he placed down two more beds, "here's some spare beds."
"Thanks Ranboo." Tommy smiled softly, but didn't look up.
"No problem Tommy." Ranboo said, "it's getting late now."
Tommy lifted his head, "is it dark?"
Ranboo glanced out the window, "uh, y-yes?"
Tommy hummed, laying back on the bed, "can you describe the stars?"
Tubbo smiled softly, "sure boss man."
Tommy closed his eyes as he heard his friends ramble. If he really tried, he could see the stars himself.
