Party Time 

The room was filled with people. Most of whom I didn't recognise because of the whole 'car incident' making me miss the first day. As Sasha and I stepped in, the smell of alcohol and perfume of kinds hit our noses, making my head spin slightly. 'Woah,' I thought, 'I'm three minutes into this party and I'm already feeling sick.' The music didn't make it any better. The high notes penetrated through my skull, making my ears buzz. The deep bass vibrated in my throat. 'Hm...Not really my style.' I shrugged it off as Sasha pulled me to the bar to get drinks.

But I wanted to come out of this... I felt really different today... I wanted to be my old self again at least that's what my dad would have wanted ... I didn't want to feel that little goofy left out girl ...I tried my best to socialize with people ... Honestly I did a pretty good job... And that's how I met Charlie and Patrick...

Charlie is this super cool guy who has a pretty complicated family ... He makes me forget about all that has happened in my life and my past that makes me miserable... He gets the better out of me ... And yeah Patrick is actually my friend from pre-school. We were like this super cringe squad then ... Did I mention that Patrick and I have dated?

Yeah, Patrick is actually my Ex... When we were younger we both liked each other and that's how we ended up together ...And actually neither one of us proposed, we just ended up together because we both liked each other's company ... But then we realized that we need to separate to find where we actually belong ...But we don't have that awkward silence between us like other couples... We are cool friends ...

Patrick: Oh my god ... Nat you've changed so much over the years... How have you always managed to grow this pretty every year ... You look beautiful tonight... Had I known you were to come to this college too, I'd prepare a surprise for you...

Me: Well, seems to me that Patrick you've not changed ... Like always, The flirtatious guy Patrick who gets his way around all the girls somehow ... Thank you for the compliments though and you don't look bad yourself.

The conversations kept going on until I saw a familiar face in the crowd ... It was Peter ... I tried not to look ... That's when Ava walked in on our conversation ... She's a super sweet girl and she's pretty cool too... I don't know when but all of a sudden Sasha and I start hanging out with Ava's friends and everything feels like a hallucination, we become the best of the best friends... 

Sasha and I leave the party when I have been stopped by someone... It's Peter ... He asked if I'd mind him walking me to the hostel ...I'm a good friend and of course I'd not leave Sasha all by herself ... but Sasha thought that the idea of me being walked home by Peter would be quite the romantic walk ... She said she'd manage and that's when Peter's friend Jake insists to drop Sasha ...He definitely has a crush on Sasha ... The way he looked at her ... Ah! he definitely had fallen for her and I don't blame him for that ... Sasha herself is a very lovable person... As they leave, Peter and I walk...

Peter: You looked magnificent tonight.

Me: You looked absolutely stunning too.

Peter: Hehe... Guess we both are good are complimenting each other...

Me: yeah, I guess so too...

*Peter blushes*

Omg, he looks so cute when he blushes his smile makes my heart pace 100 miles...

Peter: Natalie you're a really sweet girl ... I like talking to you... Can we be friends?

What on earth!!!!! That's all he wanted to talk about ... On whether we can be friends ...Of course, It's only about friends how could someone like him fall for a girl like me ... It's always me who's stupid and falls for a guy so easily ... Well, but it's not his fault he doesn't feel the same way I do for him...

Me: Oh! Friends...

*pause*

Peter: Yeah, friends 

Me: Yeah, of course, we can be friends ...

Peter: Great! Now we are friends...It was nice talking to you, Nat... Nat we've arrived...

Me: Bye peter ...

Peter: Goodnight Nat ... Sweet dreams 

*enter my room*

Sasha: Omg ... Look who's here ... Now you're taken and I'm the one single ... you better find me a boy Nat... Btw what did Peter have to say, I'm sure he asked you out ... The way ya'll check each other out ... Omg it's so adorable ... I'm gonna faint ... hehe... Nat?

Me: Hahaha... I wished he felt the same way too... He just sees me as a friend Sash and nothing else... I feel like such a desperate fool...

Sasha: heyyy heyyy... Why are you getting upset ... He's one idiot ... Trust me he's going to regret just being friends with you... And anyway you're worth more honey... Don't cry over someone who doesn't even deserve you... And plus he doesn't you that well ... I'm sure after a while he'll be running behind and you'll dodge him off...Hehe...come on cheer up

Me: You know Sash It's true I was just going too fast I guess... Plus we don't each other well too... And there's no reason to be sad about... This calls for an Ice cream party ... you're up?

Sasha: Who dare say no to an ice cream party ... Of course I'm up...

Sasha digs for butterscotch...SO BUTTERSCOTCH it is !!!!!
