Chapter 1: Power Couple

It was a cool spring morning and the grass was still wet,
Sabastian walked out of the gym, soaked in sweat.
He wiped his face with his rag,
But with such definitive muscles, there was no need to brag.
As he walked over to the park, "Sabastian!!!" she started to yell,
He turned around with such fright that he accidentally fell.

"Are you okay?"
Chloe asked

"Ms. Moore!! Hey, what brings you around these parts?"
Sabastian asked

"I was going for my daily jogs and I spotted you so I thought I'd come over and say hello to the newest assistant of my firm."
Chloe replied

"That's so sweet, but it's kinda odd, I've never seen you around here and I've been jogging out here since.... I don't know forever"
Sabastian chuckled

"Well I started on this street today, I usually run on Winchester Avenue."
She replied

"Oh, Okay well it was fun seeing you though, see you at the office?"
He asked

"You definitely will, I saw you fell before I arrived are you sure you're okay?"
Chloe asked

"I'm fine."
He chuckled

"Damn right you are"
She blurted

"Huh?"
He replied puzzled

"I mean- yes, you are - you are fine, no twisted ankles or anything right?"
She babbled

"Yeah, I mean, it could have been worse."
He replied

"A lot worse, but your fine- all of you - fine- your arms, legs, chest, not to mention those abs- damn!! I'm doing it again aren't I?
that's my cue to stop talking, I'll see you back at the office -bye"
as she stormed off

"Well, that was weird"
Sabastian laughed

The sun slowly crept over the mountainous dome,
He picked up his belongings and headed home,
picked up some roses and coffee along the way,
And a little surprise so she could remember him every day.
He took a shower and kissed her on her head,
Followed by a delicious breakfast in bed. She smiled and smelt the aroma of the rose, As he wiped the frosting of the cupcake from her nose.

"So you woke up, hit the gym, got back home showered, and had time to make me breakfast whilst being in bed?"
Tiffany asked

"Well I wouldn't say I had time, it's more of making time for what matters; if I can sacrifice my rest to pump some metal, why can't I do the same for you?"
Sabastian replied

"Awwwwww, and this is one of the main reasons I love you."
She added

"My Time Management?"
He asked

"No your charmingly corny yet romantic gestures .................. and yes, your time management"
She chuckled

"I'm really gonna miss you"
Sabastian added

"It will just be a week babe"
Tiffany replied

"I know, I know, but you know me, I'm all about being wrapped up in your presence, call me clingy but a day from you put me on edge. You drive me to come home from work for I know that I have someone who I'm yearning to come home to; but have you gone for a week!! I'll go insane."
He replied

"Baby baby baby, hear me out; It's okay, it's my first book publication; Best seller at that. We are both sacrificing something. I wanted to be here for you on your first big promotion as Assistant General Manager but unfortunately, I can't, I know you wanted to come to Los Angeles for my Book Review, but that would blow over your promotion. We both are mining our own diamonds, were just in different volcanoes that's all but you know what, after a week our volcanoes will erupt and all that pressure will be released and we will be here to enjoy our diamonds together, Okay?"
Tiffany outlined

"Your analogies are always on point."
He replied

"I learned from the best"
She added

"Ha-ha very funny"
He laughed

"Well since I can't be physically there with you, I hope you can keep me next to your heart"
as he put a necklace around her neck

"Baby it's beautiful"
Tiffany replied

"Just like the bearer"
He replied
"As much as I want to enjoy this moment forever, I have to go to work, can't be late on the first day as the AGM right?"
He added

"You'll be great hun."
She replied

"Thanks, babe, so Navy blue or Tan for the First day?"
He enquired

"Tan for my Man"
She replied

"Navy Blue it is"
he chuckled.
