"I missed you" Mama V said to Lani

"I missed you too" Lani said as she giggled
and sat in the living on her ipad

"So how are you?" Mama V asked me

"Im good. How about you?" I asked

"Can't complain" She said

We were over Mama V house because she said she wanted to see Lani and catch up with me. I agreed because why not.

"Have you talked to Zy?" I asked

"Yes. Is everything okay?" She asked

"I don't think so. He talks to Lani everyday but doesn't say not one word to me. Like when he dropped Lani off 2 days ago he didn't even look my way. Am I wrong for telling him late?" I asked

"You have to understand baby, he's also processing this also. Not only did he loose a baby, but he was last to find out. Sometimes things aren't meant to be told to everyone" She said

I just nodded in response. That's when Lani came in the kitchen with her ipad.

"Mommy dada" She said as she handed me her ipad

I nodded grabbing her ipad.

"Yes?" I asked

"What the fuck did I tell you?" He asked

"He's not in the same room with us" I said as I rolled my eyes

"Yo- you know what never mind im on my way" He said before hanging up

"I really don't know how you do it Jada" Mama V said as she shook her head

"For the last time he was upstairs!" I semi yelled

"Well let me break it down for you. I don't want that nigga in the same environment as my fucking daughter!" He semi yelled

"She's my daughter too!" I semi yelled

"You heard what I said" He said as he stood over me

"Fuck you" I said

"You too be loud but we can drop Lani off" He said as he smirked

I rolled my eyes pulling out my phone ordering a uber. Before I could order it my phone was taken out of my hands.

"What are you doing?" I asked

"We not done talking" He said

"What else is there to talk about?" I asked

"Our unborn child" He said as he sat down on his bed

"Why wasn't I the first person you told?" He asked

"I told you when it happened I was on the ph-"

"Nah. Why wasn't I the first person you told that you was pregnant" He asked

"I don't know" I said lowly as I played with my fingers looking down

"Jada im not understanding. When you were having them symptoms why didn't you call me. We could have found out together. You literally waited a whole year to tell me that we lost a child-"
