Chapter 4

After that kiss,Devontay smiled at me and I looked away and burst into laughter.Everyone stopped and started a conversation look at each other:

Me:OK that's over

Samaya:Mhm I can't believe that I saw this

Neil:lol Yuh like him

Me:No No No No way

Natalia:Booby,......raaay.

Devontay:Kmt

Me:Don't think I like you,its just a game Devontay

Everyone: Ohhh!!!

Stupid me , I like him.I am just shy.He walked away into the crowd.

I looked at the time on my phone and it was 2:00 a.m.We have to get back to the house!!! So I called my cousins to get going back to the house.When we got to the house,we take turns in the bathroom and head to bed.I couldn't sleep,all I could do is think about Devontay until 3:30 a.m.

The next day,I jumped out of bed,took a shower,brush my teeth,groom my blue and black artificial braids,clothes and use deodorant.I put on my shoes and ate breakfast and went outside to do chores in the front yard.I went in the backyard and saw a group of boys playing cricket along with Devontay and my cousins.

Me:Can I play?

Everyone:yeah

Jameil:join your boyfriend's team

Me:he is not my bf!!

Devontay:stop talking and let's play the match

My heart beated as if I had a heart attack. Oh no,his team.I will start to form a fool of myself.The match started until Devontay and I had to bat.While I stare at Devontay,Jameil bowled me out and then him but we ended up winning.After the match,Devontay and I walked down the street to talk.I got nervous about the idea being alone with him.

Him:About last night,did that kiss mean anything ?

Me:Well ,um ,yeah a bit.When you said you liked me I didn't know you really mean it,sorry I didn't know,Can I text or call you tonight?

Him:I will give you my number later,but that kiss means something,a Kingstonian kisses a boy from England is as greater than some Country girl doing that.

Me:You are from England!when did you move here?

Him:When I was 11.By the way do you like me?

Me:Lol yeah because you are unique.Kingstonian boys,are street kids all over the place 24/7,but you now,2/5

Him:Lol you are unique too,you-

Me:no need to explain,I know who I am!lets get back to the house and watch Teen Wolf 1,2,3 & 4

Him:OK with the others,lets start a relationship between us, privately ,you agree?

Me:I will think about it

Him:Kl

We went back to the house and watch movies in the living room with the others.During the movie,Devontay started to tickle my side and I hit him,turn around and listened to Samaya and Natalia's conversation:

Natalia: look at them,dem deh?

Samaya: dem look like they are friends

Natalia:shut up!!

I hope they don't know about this thing Devontay and I talked about. Samaya b looked at me as if she was jealous and Natalia too.They walked outside and called me out to have a talk.

Natalia:You came here this week and get man up here already!?

Me:.....,.huh!?

Samaya:Did he mix your brain?He has been with other girls then dump them like trash!

Me:I am sure that won't happen and I know why!

Both:Why!?

Me:he said he sees me different from the other girls here,he quoted about Kingstonian girl kisses a boy from England is greater than some Country girl doing that.

Natalia:Hmh,makes sense!?

Samaya:Yeah,good luck in your relationship

Me:No relationship between us

Both:Ok

Me:Kl!!!O:-)

They smiled gracefully and walked into the house to watch the movie.I wonder what they are up to, let's find out in the next Chapter.
