Salvestro (Dad) POV
I was in a meeting with Ace and Axle we were trying to figure out how we are going to solve our enemies stealing our shipments when my phone starts ringing. I decline the call and move on with the meeting whoever called knows that when I don't pick up the first time don't call back wait until I call you back.
The phone rings again and the boys freeze either because whoever is calling just gota death wish or because they know I'm about to answer it. I put the phone to my ear and before I can even say anything the person on the other side starts talking.
"Hello is this Mr. Ferrari?" A male voice asks. "Who is this?" I ask deadly calm voice.
"This is officer Jaxson from the La police department." He says but I cut him off before he can finish. "Why are you calling me I live in Italy not Calaforina." I spit out already fed up with this call.
"I have your daughter here it seems she was kidnapped when she was a week old and well her kidnappers died and we had to bring her to the station to run some dna because she didn't know her name or age."
He speaks fast probably sensing that I was about to hang up. I freeze unable to say anything. They found my babygirl my princess after eight long years they found her. A tear slides down my face and the boys are looking at me worried mostly because I never cry.
"Umm sir are you still there?" He asks into the phone. "Uh yeah yes I'm still here sorry about that. No problem. Well so like I was saying we have your daughter and she needs a guardian since she's still a minor. So I guess what I'm calling to ask is if your willing to take her in?" He asks nervously like he's afraid I'm going to say no.
"Yes of course. Of course we'll take her when should we be there?" I ask excitedly. "Anytime is fine she'll be sleeping here tonight because we don't want to put her in a group home because of some issues."
He says which cause my overprotective dad bell to go off. "What do you mean issues? Is something wrong with my babygirl? Is she ok?" I ask not being able to handle something else wrong with her. "Well umm it's kinda hard to explain physically she's fine but then physically she's not fine either." He says.
"I'm confused is she fine or not? Well she looks like she like three she's really small for a eight year old but I'm not sure how she is underneath her clothes bruise and scar wise only because she hasn't taken off her hoodie."
He says leaving me even more confused. "It'll make more sense once you get here what time do you think you'll get here? We'll be there by tomorrow." I confirm and standing up and dismissing the meeting. "Alrighty then I'll see you when you get here safe travels. See you then Thank you so much." I say hanging up the phone.
"What was that about?" Ace asks me as we all walk out the warehouse. "They found her. They found our princess." Is all I say as we walk back to the house. "Wait really we found her where is she is she ok?" Axle rants just as I did. "She fine but we have to go get her so call the boys and tell them to meet us at the airport they don't have to pack we are just going to pick her up." I tell them they nod and start making calls while we head to the airport.
We'll probaly arrive at the same time of the boys because we're further away. Once we arrive we borde the plan and were off to America to meet my baby girl. We arrive a little past nine am so we all got some sleep. The car is waiting to take us to the station when we get there. We all pile in and off we go.
"So dad how is she all Ace told us was that you found her and were going to america to get her. Well when we were meeting I got a call and I ignored it at first but then they called again and when I picked up it was a officer basically saying the people who kidnapped her died and yeah that's pretty much it."
