Xanders POV

Once we grab all of Arianna's toys we all head downstairs to the living room where we can have more room. Arianna looks so happy as we spread a blanket on the ground and then all sit down. Xavier is being a goofball as usual, making her bear do funny things and giving it a weird voice. Her giggle is absolutely adorable, it make me melt every time I hear it.

"Xander, Axwl , do you want pway," Ari asks us with her adorable little baby talk that I've never heard before.

I grin and take the block from her helping her put it on top of the small tower she and Xavier were building. We sit there with her playing with her bear and the blocks. We built her bear a large castle as tall as her and then Xavier pretended to be a dragon and destroyed the castle, now Ari and I are wrestling with Xander as he growls and playfully pushes us off. All while Ari ordered Axle to sit off to the side and wait for us to rescue him. Axle was a bit upset that he wasn't actively playing with us but didn't move an inch because that's what Ari wanted him to do.

"Xavier, stopppppp," Ari cries out screaming with laughter.

Xavier continues tickling her and laugh along with her as she squirms trying to get away.

"Help Axle help!" She all but screams still dying with laughter.

Immediately Axle jumps up from his spot and runs to help Ari. Probably harsher then necessary he picks Xavier up and throws him to the other side of the room. He picks Ari up and just holds her, he doesn't say a word but she just holds her.

"You ok princess?" He asks her kissing her forehead softly.

She nods smiling cuddling into his shoulder closing her eyes. We all watch in silence, the reality that our princess is back making us smile. Axle walks over to the couch and sits down.

"M-m-m-m-my head hurts," Ari whispers, so quietly we almost couldn't hear her.

"Where baby?" I ask her not wanting to panic but also concerned.

"Here," She whines pointing to the right side of her head.

"Is that where you had the headache earlier babe?" Axle asks rubbing her back, she nods.

I look at Axle confused, what other time did she have a headache? Did she hit her head? Is she sick? Does she have these often?

A million questions flood my mind as I sit next to Ari and Axle, taking Ari's hand.

"How about we get Ryan to take a look, since this is your second headache, hmm?" Axle asks gently.

Immediately she shakes her head rapidly, clutching him a little tighter. Axle sighs and rubs her back while looking at Xavier. They make eye contact, before Xavier nods and walks out the living silently.

Ryan's POV

I'd just finished my paperwork for the day when someone knocks on the door.

"Come in," I sigh tired, it's been a long day.

I turn to pour myself a drink as the person walks in, I turn back around to find my little brother Xavier in front of me.

"What's up?" I ask taking a swig of my drink.

"You need to check out Ari," He says quickly, immediately a million questions flood my mind.

What's wrong? Is she hurt? Is it her feet? Did they play too rough with her?

Guilt fills me as I suddenly remember I didn't check if Ace baby proofed the living room. What if he forgot, and she stuck her hand in a socket, or she hit her head on the coffee table. What if she slipped on the rug.

"Where is she?" I ask, basically flying out of my office.

He doesn't respond, instead he just pushes me out of the way and guides me to the living room. When we get there Axle is holding Ari and Xander holds her hand while she cries and tries to get out of their hold.

"Let gooo," She cries pushing against Axle.

"I'm sorry baby, we're just gonna wait for Ryan to do a quick check then we can go back to playing," Axle easily holds her to his body as she cries.

I walk over to them, my heart beating super fast.

"Hey babygirl, I heard you weren't feeling good. Can you tell me what's wrong?" I gently take a knee in front of them, trying to ease her fear.

She tries pushing Axles arm off of her again, this time tears pooling in her eyes.

"Please let me go, I don't like this. Let go, let gooo," Tears are streaming down her cheeks now, as she becomes more and more distraught. "Let go! I want Ace! Let me go!" She sobbing, screaming as she kicks and tries to fight her way out of Axles arms.

"Ari, baby, we don't want to hurt you. I just wanna make sure your okay. Can you take a deep breath for me please," I speak softly trying to ease her panic.

"What's going on? Why is she screaming?"

I turn towards the stairs and see Dad, Ace, Marco, and Mateo coming down the stairs all looking very worried. As soon as Arianna sees Ace starts screaming for him fighting as hard as she can against Axle.

"Ace hwlp, pease hwlp," Ari breaks down as she continues to sob.

Ace rushes to her side and swoops her out of Axles hold, cuddling her to his chest. We all watch in silence she he sits on the couch and just hugs her as she sobs into his shoulder.

"I got you baby, I've got you." He rocks them side to side as she cries babbling.

I'm soooooo so so so sorry for the wait. tbh I had lost interest in the story for a bit then I read the last chapter and it all jus clicked again. Thank you sm for being patient. I'll try to do better.

Qotd- What was your favorite game to play as a kid??

My answer is probably barbie dolls, my sister and I came up with the most outrageous storylines but we had fun.
