I also forgot to mention, the Jumping Jacks speak in English. It's what every rich kid was taught. The Jumping Jacks were made up of rich kids. Les Joyaux Cachés only spoke French. Only four members spoke both languages. They were AJ James, Adonis and Antonio.Going back to reality, the boy ran towards the platform holding AJ, James and Adonis. "Les membres des Jumping Jacks sont là!" he exclaimed. (Members of the Jumping Jacks are here!) That's when everything went chaotic. People started scrambling to get away from the platform.
"On se retrouve ici demain! N'oubliez pas de venir!" Adonis called out. (We'll meet here tommorow! Don't forget to come!). Then everyone scattered. Either James or Antonio bumped into AJ (she barely knew the difference between them sometimes) knocking her over. She was only small and thin, therefore easier to hurt.
"Je m'excuse AJ. Je ne voulais pas te blesser," The boy apologised. (I apologize AJ. I did not mean to hurt you)
"AJ? AJ are you here?" Wybe was asking.
""Je suis désolé Lily. Je dois y aller. Viens au café ce soir. Une réunion importante a lieu," The boy said before running off towards his brother ("I'm sorry Lily. I have to go. Come to the cafe tonight. An important meeting is taking place). Wybe walked over to AJ.
"For gods sake AJ, get up! We don't want people seeing you," Wybe chastised.
"Sorry Wybe," AJ muttered standing up and brushing off her trousers.
"Who on earth was that boy?" Wybe asked.
"His name's James," AJ told her.
"James? He better not be one of them Matou boys," Wybe snarled.
"No Wybe. He's not," AJ said.
"Then what is his last name AJ?" Wybe sceptically asked.
"His last name is Garcia," AJ replied quickly.
"Garcia? James Garcia?" Wybe muttered. "Never heard of him,".
"Yeah. He wanted to meet up later on today, if that's okay with you," AJ explained.
"Of course it is. If you weren't so awfully busy AJ. Mother wants you to help me practice my spells and enchantments. Then you have to come to the Jumping Jacks meeting. I suppose you could go after the meeting. But I need you to wash my dress for the royal ball," Wybe listed off.
"What if, I washed your dress while you did the spells and enchantments then I can go to the meeting. That is straight after your practice correct?" AJ asked.
"Correct," Wybe responded
"So then I could go straight after the meeting," AJ said.
"Chores?" Wybe asked.
"Did all of them this morning," AJ explained.
"Fine then. Go tell your boyfriend you can go on your date and then come get me prepared for the royal ball on Friday!" Wybe ordered.
AJ nodded. "Yes Wybe. I'll see you at home," she mumbled walking towards James. When she was sure Wybe was gone she started running. 'There's a royal ball? The Hidden Gems will attack it! They'll hurt Wybe' she thought. Then AJ saw James.
"James!" She called out. He turned around and grinned.
"AJ!" He exclaimed. She ran over to him and gave him a hug.
"I'll be able to come to the meeting," AJ said.
"That's wonderful!" He exclaimed. He looked at her and saw a frown on her face. "Are you okay?".
AJ hesitated for a second and then said, "There's a royal ball on Friday. We should ambush it and take control of the government." James stared at her in shock and then smiled.
"You've got brains AJ. Real brains," He muttered.
"Why thanks James," She smiled.
"You're welcome Lady AJ," James grinned.
"I have to go now James. Wybe wants me to wash one of her dresses," AJ groaned.
"That's awful. But goodbye AJ," James said.
"Je te verrai de l'autre côté de la révolte," AJ quoted.
"Je te verrai de l'autre côté de la révolte," James repeated (I'll see you on the other side of the revolt) With that, she ran off to the trecherous place called home. Where her evil mother and just as evil sister awaited her arrival.
