The sky was cloudy, with oddly warm breezes coming and going. Children's laughter seemingly echoed throughout the streets.
The now golden eyed girl was in the front yard, watering her mothers flowers, and watching her small dog dart back and forth through the tall grass.
Quietly, the girl hummed to herself watching the flower petals shine as the water slowly dripped onto their leaves and onto the ground.
Soon enough she was done watering the flowers, she walked under a tree, sat down and began studying and doing school work. Her dog followed and sat beside her.
Timeskip:
The sun was setting yet again as the girl finished her work, getting ready to return to head inside again, she saw the familiar winged figure approaching her. "Oh, hello Sora!" the girl spoke in an oddly gentle tone, smiling at the winged woman. "Hello again Scarlette, how was your day?" she replied, returning the red haired girl's smile and tone, "It was fine, I'm just going to prepare dinner, would you like to come inside?" she asked her friend,"If it's fine, then of course."
The two figures then walked inside, the small dog following.
Timeskip:
The pair were now back in the girl's room sitting on her bed.
They spoke for a while, waiting for the girl's parents to return. While they were conversing, the winged figure asked the girl about her family.
"I'll admit, I don't have the best relationship with my family, I don't like them very much. Actually no, I hate them."
The red haired girl then went on about how much she hated her family, how much she wanted them dead, how much she wanted to hear their dying pleas for help, and how much they had often made her want to kill herself.
Whilst Scarlette spoke, Sora sat and listened.
"Sorry, I kind of went on a bit of a rant there, didn't I?"
"Oh, it's fine, I don't mind."
Soon enough they both heard the jingling of keys coming from downstairs, followed by the small dog's barking.
"I suppose that means you have to get going, right?"
"I suppose so."
"Well okay then, I'll see you tomorrow, bye now!"
"Goodbye."
Within a matter of seconds, the winged figure had gone, as though she was never there.
Timeskip:
Once again, it had darkened. Another day gone, and another day approaching.
The girl once again spoke with the stuffed animals sitting at the foot of her bed, her friends.
"I'm glad I met Sora when I did, she's nice, wouldn't you say?"
A silence hung in the air.
She smiled at her friends before speaking again,"I agree. I'm glad you agree with me too."
"I think I might've also found a way to give you a new life!" The girl smiled.
Though she couldn't see, their glossy eyes lit up. They would be able to live real lives now. They all felt the sensation of happiness bubbling up in their fuzzy chests.
