We both got to our feet to see what it was. It was definitely an angel. It folded its wings and started to come hurtling at us. I took a small step back. Ky was locked in place not able to move. Somehow he was transfixed at by the angel.

"Ky!" I yelled as it got closer. I ran forward and grabbed his arm and tried to pull him back. It was getting closer and was no more then ten yards away. "Ky" I screamed again, This times he moved. He turned and pushed me in front of him as we ran to the roof hatch. I turned to take a glance back in time to see a mix of white and brown wings collide behind me. "Ky!" I screamed again. I heard the sound of the roof hatch opening as Buo came in. I stole a glance back at him, then looked back at Ky and the stranger. The angel I found to be a girl had Ky pinned to the ground and a knife at his throat. "Ria!" I said this time but she paid no attention to me.

"Who are you and why are you here." She asked Ky.

"Ria, it's okay, this is Ky. He is a friend." I said quickly.

Ria then stood up, and put her knife back into her belt. "Sorry." She said then reached out a hand towards Ky and helped him up. I ran forward and gave her a hug.

"Your back," I breathed, still embracing her. I finally released her. She was wearing all black leather. Boots, pants, jacket, and gloves. She had a black belt that held about ten knives all ranging in size, and five black pistols, then stood strong and tall in front of us. "Where have you been!" I said in a strong voice.

"Here and there, I have gone to New York, L.A, Texas, Colorado, and the capital." She answered quickly while dusting off her pants. "I'm Ria." She said extending her hand to Ky and then Buo, who shook it in response and said their names.

"Let's head inside." I said, then walked towards the hatch. We went into the main room, where Ria automaticly made herself at home.

She took off her boots which held two more knives, then her jacket which held stuff like binoculars, a lighter, two more pistol, five more knives, duck tape, needles, bullets, and some sort of bomb which made me kinda nervous.

We all watched her quietly. "Why were you gone for so long?" Ky asked Ria.

"Research, killing people, passing messages on, training, getting information, looking for stuff." She answered while wiping blood from an earlier used knife.

"What kind of stuff?" Ky asked.

"Keys." She said not looking up.

"Like this one?" I said holding up my necklace.

She turned around to look. "Where did you find that!?" She said running forward to look more closely.

"In town, from the guy with the old antique shop." I said quickly, hoping she wouldn't choke me over it.

"I have been looking all over for one of these all over the continent and you find it less then a mile away!" She said running her fingers over the key. The key was a faded gold, with a pair of angel wings for a handle that twisted till it straightened out at the end. It must have took a very good craftsman to make this. "We must go to Colorado to meet with the Order." Everyone looked at her with surprise, "it is the best place to go to find out where one of the gates are." She paused, "if you can keep it long enough to get to one."

"Okay when do we leave?" Ky asked while nervously looking at her belt that laid on the table.

"Tomorrow." She said while taking off a back pack.

"Tomorrow! Isn't that a bit early?" Ky asked.

"Yes it is. We have to get there and meet up with some of my friends." Ria said.
