„Don can you please open the door, I'm in the bathroom?" „Yeah sure." I was currently on the toilet getting ready as the door bell ringed. I heard loud screams and someone arguing. I went as fast as I could out of the bathroom and looked to the door. I saw a woman. She was beautiful.
She had dark hair and had a perfekt body. "Maria what the hell are you doing here? I said we are done?!" He screamed at her. That was Maria. She was the one writing me. That bit-
"Don you can't just abandon me! All because of her! Look at her she doesn't even have the money to buy herself some nice clothes!" She laughed. I felt so embarrassed because I thought that I looked good. "Leyla don't listen to her." Don whispered. I nodded and gave him a fake smile. "Maria get the fuck out now!" He slammed the door in her face. I kinda had to laugh but I suppressed it.
As he closed the door he exhaled deeply. He turned around and hugged me. I put my hands around his neck and inhaled his scent. "I love you." I said. "I love you too."
-time gap-
"Don I have a great idea!" I exclaimed. "What is it, love?" "I wanted to call Josephine maybe you could call Max?" i said.
"Yeah sure but why Max?" He asked jealous. I rolled my eyes at him. "Don't worry I'm not going to marry him, Jesus. Max and Josephine have kinda a thing." I said. "What?!" He exclaimed. "Yeah, she went to the same company as him and then it happened." "Omg I have to call him. Why didn't he tell me that?" He said with a pout. "What a baby." I smirked.
He just rolled his eyes and went to call Max.
I took some time to call Josephine.
"Hey Bestiee! I missed you." She shouted. I think I'm deaf for now on. "Hey Jose, I missed you too."
We talked and talked about everything that has been going on. "Sooo what's up with you and Max?" I wiggled my eyebrows although she couldn't see me. She laughed. "I don't know. We are not together but the tension is there." she grinned. I smiled. "I'm so happy to hear that. Oh by the way do you want to come to my place tonight? Don is here." I knew that as soon I said his name she would a scream.
Yep I'm deaf.
"I know I know. We talked about everything. Anyways do you have time?"
„For you always, Leyla. Just send me your address. Mwah" she blowed a kiss and hung up.
I smiled to myself. I really missed this girl.
Don came into the Livingroom were i was. „So, Love. What did she say?" „She can come! I'm so happy to see her." I said excited. „Max can come too!" he said.
~time gap~
I prepared everything and Don helped me clean the house. I appreciated it that he helped me so much. I got into my room and got dressed. I was planning on wearing something comfy and not too dressed up. I grabbed a plain black loose dress out of my closet and threw it on. My make up was also plain. Just maskara, lip gloss and blush.
I ran down the stairs fast and almost broke my leg. But anyway, I gave Usain Bolt some competition. Anyway, I went to the door where Don was already standing and saw Jose and Max come in.
I heard her screams: "HEY Leyla! I missed you so much!" she said as she looked at me with a sad look and threw her arms over me. "I missed you too, Jose!" I said while laughing at her. I saw Max and Don hugging. "Eyo what's up? Missed you, Don. " he said with a big smile on his face. „I missed you too." they hugged again.
It was adorable seeing them like this again. When I saw them hugging it reminded me of the old days in college. I never thought I would ever make such good friends there. "Come on in, it's cold outside," I said and pushed them both into the living room.
"Wow Leyla your house is beautiful!" said Jose in amazement. "Thank you!"

We sat around the table all evening eating and talking so much. It was really good to talk to Jose and max again. I really missed those two. Even though me and max didn't really do much in the beginning, he was still always there for me. I would never think that we would all be sitting around the same table laughing again. Especially Don and me. I am extremely happy and enjoying the moment to the fullest.
"And that my friends is how I broke my nose, that's why it's so crooked." said Don. We all started laughing. This man is really funny. I looked at him and smiled. He looked at Jose and Max and just explained to them how he broke his hand. He used to break things all the time. He's so weird. I love it.
I loved his smile. I could be in a bad mood all day, but if he smiled at me even once, my day would change rapidly into a positive one. He noticed I was looking at him and smiled at me. He took my hand and squeezed it lightly. I just smiled even more and was so happy.
It was him. He was the love of my life. I love him and will forever. Nothing can change that. His smile, his humor, his eyes, his hair, his stupid grin with which he, when I first came into the room, made me fall in love with. Huh, I laughed inside. I remember when I couldn't stand him. He was so... so perfect. Too good to be true. His stupid sayings, and the faces he always made.
Old times.
I was finally happy. After so many months, I could finally enjoy the time. He was with me and so were my friends. That was enough for me. He was enough.
So, and to finally answer the question that you asked yourself all the time: Are we really enemies? No, no we are not. We are much more than that. We are soulmates. We are one person.
