One Piece: Law and Disorder-Blood is Thick

(Spoiler Chapter! If you don't read the manga, don't read this!)

“Cora-san. Usui.”

Usui froze. His hands began to shake and his pale face became even paler. Rocinante whipped around next to him and Usui heard his breathing get ragged. The young teen slowly turned and as he did, his eyes filled with tears.

Law was standing across from him. His brother was here in this place.

“Usui…” Corazon said worriedly.

Usui marched up to his brother, his eyes hooded and tears spiraling down to the ground. He punched Law right across the face and Law took it.

“Why are you here?!” Usui had his hands clenched at his sides, his shoulders shaking. He couldn’t stop crying as he hung his head. This was too much.

Law straightened up and stood quietly. This silence made Usui furious. He grabbed the front of Law’s shirt and glowered up at him. “Go back! Go back right now! You said you were going to kick Joker’s ass! I wanted you to be happy! I wanted you to live! And yet…!”

Usui’s head landed on Law’s chest, his hands still clenching his brother’s shirt.

“Go back…!” he sobbed. “Go back!”  

Law raised a hand and placed it on top of Usui’s head. The blue haired boy seized up at the touch.

“I’m sorry.”

Usui took in a sharp breath and his bottom lip trembled. Usui wrapped his arms around his brother’s middle and cried messily into his shirt.  

“You should be, baka aniki!”

Law laughed and squeezed Usui tight.

“I missed you so much!” Usui wailed.

Corazon smiled and went up to them. “One heck of a family this is.”

“You got that right,” Law agreed, looking up fondly at Corazon. “Hey, Cora-san.”

Cora-san grinned a closed eyed smile.

“Hey, Law.”

Alternate Version

“Falcon Punch!” Usui roared as he punched Law into the air and back down to earth.

There was a twinkle in the air where Law had shrunk into nothing. Usui crossed his arms across his chest and huffed. “Hmph.”

Rocinante was standing far back from him, a sweat drop rolling down the back of his head. “One heck of a family this is…”

So... Oda killed off Law...

I'm being in denial here, but there's no way Law's actually dead... right?

I mean... It's Law...

Sure, he's bleeding out on the ground, his heart stopped beating, and he's not breathing, but that doesn't mean he's dead...
