The Two of Us

Chapter Two: A Night to Remember

In that moment, I swear we were infinite, and we basically ate each others faces out. We made out for a while but Harry and Skylar came looking for us. It was awkward to see them standing over us. Clearly they saw it coming.

"What is going on you two? Niall stop harrasing this poor sweetheart," Skylar chuckled. "Aubin go wash up and get ready for dinner."

"Niall leave her alone," Harry stated. "Even though I would expect it."

I didn't mind, after all, we were dating. It was nice, in my opinion. His soft lips grasping mine, in a flourish of magic. At least, that's what it felt like. Like fireworks in my chest, exploding out and probably killing someone. Just saying... But wait-- dinner? We had dinner plans? With Niall and Harry? What did Skylar think? Is she ok with this? these thoughts swarmed my brain full of confusion. I asked Skylar and she was onboard. Interestingly enough, i was surprised to find a towel laid out in the bathroom with a note on top.

Shower, you need one after today. Get ready for tonight ok? Time to impress him, love. I'll pick out your fanciest dress for tonight. XX -- Skylar

"The bathroom? What's in the bathroom?" I murmured, dragging myself to the shower. "God damnit Sky, what are you up to?" I got into the shower and started thinking of what was going to happen tonight. I picked up the shampoo and conditioner, scrubbed, and rinsed. After getting out and drying my hair, I noticed a beautiful dress on the side of my bed.

All white. Long sleeved. Lace top. Scooping back, landing on the top of the skirt, fastened with a big white bow. My favorite dress. Sky knew me so well to pick this one over all of the other choices she could've chosen. But, the shoes she had chosen weren't mine. Skylar's favorite shoes were too small for her, and she gave them to me. Nude closed toe pumps, with lace on the side, and a bow on top. They were also my favorite. I found Sky, almost ready for tonight, in the living room.

"Oh Aubin, you look stunning!" Sky proclaimed. "Hun, let me do your hair! What would you like? Tight curls or a cute up-do?"

"Tight curls of course," I smirked. "Well, tighter curls. You know my auburn hair is naturally curly!"

"As you wish, Princess."

Sky got started right away, straightening before curling. She tried motto mess up my part, which I hate to be moved. When I was finished, Sky gave me my favorite eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow. Black eyeliner, top and bottom (not too much) and my sparkling peach eyeshadow.

A knock at our door startled the both is us. The boys came in looking rather dashing, and Niall had already stolen my heart.

"Wow, Aubin, you look beautiful!" Niall's face lit up with excitement. "Just, wow."

Harry was also pleased with Skylar. She was wearing a blue, low cut, sweetheart neckline, maxi dress. The azure coloring really brought out her hair and eyes. As we were led to the car, both gentlemen opened our doors for us. Same came to when we sat down for dinner. They had pulled out our chairs. Tonight was going to be something special.
