Cold

Dark

Alone

Those are the three things you sense. Can I open them? Can I feel them? Where is everyone?
Nowhere to my acknowledgment. My eyes are heavy, I want to wake up. Trying to repress my feelings onto my current reality as I squint my eyes as hard as I can.

You finally open your eyes. It was at first easy to close in your dream, but was difficult to open them once you've woken up. Groaning and feel rather parched. How long have you been asleep? It's always dark so it's far too long to know how many days have passed. Slowly getting up, stumbled upon the heated gravel as you look towards your surroundings.
"Hercules. Ephemer. Chirithy?"

  No one has responded.
Well— all except for Chirithy. They appeared behind you with a worried expression and wary ears. "You're awake! Thank the hearts you're the first to get up."

You look around frantically till you see the pillars lit up by hellfire. Seems like there is multiple paths. A maze perhaps? No wonder why Ephemer and Hercules isn't responding.

  "Hellooooo~!" You shouted.

Thick walls vibrate to the sound of your voice across the halls. Not surprise how can Hades remember where he's going since he's been living here for ions.

"Maybe we'll find them as we walk around. Surely we must been the first to wake up." Chirithy suggested.

"Right," you nodded, "watch my back for me okay?"

Chirithy nods as they subtle next to me. Pounding our feet on the hardened gravel. This is going to take a while.

Every corner is all built and refined; no signs of it worn off than sigils of the land of death. Only walls so tall it can fit a Titan. I cannot help but feel uneasy from gargoyles or demons fly over it's hedges.

I sense pressure of the flooring getting uneven. Tilting me sideways, as if it's rotating. Something rumbles behind me as it increasingly getting close. I ready my key for another fight. Except there wasn't a living being— it's a rock?
Ten times the size of my size. It is rolling at a moderate pace, reacting for me to run.

Chirithy stammering with their tiny feet tapping, "Auaahh! I cannot run" Chirithy takes a breather, "Hoo- Hoo- I wish I can grow into a bigger spirit!"

You turned back to cast ice and grabbed Chirithy before the boulder will crush them. Wrapping one arm of their torso. "You know, that would be cool if master Ira ever thought of your request."

"I would be more delighted to become more useful than a guided companion."

Two pathways coming into your view. Don't know which way to go is like a gamble. A dead end would be the possibility to make a move. And I was correct. Every turn I take were either a dead end, or a trap. My feet slowly aching each step I turn.

"Watch out!"

"Where?" You whined looking left and right.
Something swarms with a hoard of heartless comes from the right, whose being chased—
"Ephemer!"

Ephemer notices that boulder behind you till he sees the heartless hoarder make their next attack. He grabs your arm taking you behind the boulder once the opening gap was further. Ducking down before a gust of hoards stick onto the rock like magnets.
You looks around to find the left another trap; tar trickling and covering the corridor walls. With this idea, readying your keyblade with a struck of your mighty blade send the boulder roll over the hot tar, burning the shadow hoards form and drowned along with it. How deep is that pit of tar? Or is it just hot for it to melt like lava?
