I saw a ghost of a smile on his lips when I told him that I'm going to join.

What the freak Arwaa Dwyn?! Are you nuts?

You seriously wanna join a group of pirates?!

"Well then, be my guest." the Captain said to me.

He offered his hand to help me stand up. I immediately accepted it for the fear that I might piss him off and get killed.

"I'm sorry, there must be a mistake. I didn't mean to say that." I panicky said that while looking at the feet that were full of wounds.

When I got disgusted, I turned my gaze back to him but he just stared at me with a blank expression and looked around. I followed his gaze.

Shit! We're in the middle of the sea! What the hell!

When I looked under, I saw some parts of the ship we previously used. Other than that, floating corpses were left, nothing else.

There's no island nearby. No sight of survival.

My tears fell, if my brother was still alive and we both rose from the water, we wouldn't be able to survive either.

"What were you saying again?" he asked me.

"Nothing. I'm now a hundred percent sure. I'm joining" I told him while looking at the floating bodies below us.

I'm joining because l have nowhere to go. No one to be with. Just nothing.

Maybe being a part of this crew could change a bit of myself. I want to get even. I got nothing, I got no one but myself.

Is there someone to blame? No one. But I want to get even.

"Very well. Welcome aboard." he welcomed me again with a plain voice.

Maybe this is really it. Maybe this will be the perfect life for me because I never had one.

"Miss, I'll lead you to your cabin." The kid from earlier told me.

I remained silent and followed him. We stopped in front of a door, which looked aesthetically vintage. It was made from wood but the design made me feel as if I was back in the Renaissance period.

He opened the door for me. A clean bedroom welcomed me. The room was full of silver, gold and dark brown shiny wood that makes you feel like you're living in a castle.

"Is this a normal room?" I asked the boy.

"No miss, this room is beside the Captain's cabin that makes it the room for the Captain's wife. But since Captain Mave doesn't have a wife, he said you could stay here instead of staying with us at the public cabin and sleeping together with all the men inside this ship." He gave me a long explanation.

"Oh okay." My only response to his long explanation.

"I'll tour you around po if you want, just call me. I'll be around the deck." he told me.

TL/N: "Po" is a sign of respect. Commonly used when you're having a talk with someone who is older than you.

I just nodded and he went away. I entered the cabin that didn't look like one. It actually looked like a princess' room.

When I got in, there was a brown vanity table with a bunch of sparkling jewelry just like the one that I have at my house. But, this one was still different. It was immaculate.

There was a bed. The foam was so soft and it also looked comfortable to sleep in. There was a bathroom. Then there was a window near the bed where you could see the sea outside.
