Chapter 3 - Distant Days

Hayasaka POV

"Hayasaka-chan it's about time so you could leave now!"

"Thanks, sensei."

It was currently 30 minutes before school was over and I was let out early. They let us go 30 minutes early due to the Acting director's actions he allowed us to get used to the campus. Since it's also our first day here they wanted us to buy some supplies and other stuff for our dorms. So I could get settled into the school setting but this also let us wander around and scout the area on our own. *Ring Ring* Huh, I wonder who's calling me at this time since classes were still in session so it couldn't be too many people. Anyways I picked up the call

{Who is this?}

{Ai-san glad you picked up since I need your help with something.}

{Kurumi, what is exactly is this favor to be exact? And when did you get my number?}

Like me, the rest of the girls also were allowed to leave early to do whatever they want and get familiar with the campus. But I'm pretty sure we didn't exchange numbers yet since we were rushed today in the morning with everything. We even had to sit through a very long and boring talk about expelling Kiyo and the school's rules.

{Silly I just happened to borrow your phone for a bit to get your number. It was during lunch when you were distracted kissing Kiyotaka.}

{Well that's fine with me so what's this favor you wanted me to do?}

{I need you to picklock Kiyo's dorm lock since you're the only one who was mostly invested in that thing. The rest of us only just stuck with the basics and didn't expand that skill unlike you. Since these dorm locks are electronic and more advanced than we thought.}

{Since you said 'we' I'm guessing it's not just you who's going to be there either.}

{Usually, I'll like to have my alone time like the rest of you. But since we will be having to talk to him about important matters all of us have to be there. So we're just going to surprise him by relaxing in his dorm for a bit and check how's it like.}

{It's not like we have anything better to do so I'm in. Where do you want to meet up?}

{Front of the school Esdeath is already telling Yuno as well. So we'll meet up there and then go get out room numbers as well.}

After hanging up the call, I headed to meet with the rest so we could go get our assigned dorms. The four of us went and got our assigned dorms and it turns out three of us would be on the same floor as Kiyo. Turns out two boys who got expelled last year had the same floor as him and there was an extra dorm that was leftover. But that also means one of us would be sleeping on two floors above us in a dorm that used to belong to an expelled student in the girl's section.

"When did you four get so expressive especially you, Hayasaka?"

It was only normal he would ask us this question since before it wasn't always like this with us. The especially includes me since back then I was the one more resemblance to Kiyo when it came to our faces.

"It has to do with the day you left for this school and the White Room's restart. See the same day Matsuo helped you escape to this place that old man had other plans and added a new course to our training."

Flashback

"Hello girls, I have come to give you news about a new phase of your training."

"Was it really necessary for you to show up? If it were just to announce the new course to our training you would've sent one of the instructors. So it's odd for you to come and tell us in person, Ayanopapa."
