Chapter 4- Introductions

Summer and Kit are my only sisters. But we all had one little brother. Luke was my youngest brother. When he was five he died.

It was just one regular day in our kingdom. When our parents found out that mom was pregnant with Luke. After 9 months Luke was born! After four years Luke was so fun to play with. He was Kits twin. My parents  were not ready for twins. Kit was one minute before Luke, that makes her older. When it came to Kit and Luke's birthday. My mom asked them if they wanted to go shopping for new books. They said yes. But Kit came down with the Flu and could not go.  She gave them a list of the books she wanted. She waved goodbye. Not knowing it would be the last them she saw them. Dad was out of town but as soon the messenger came it was to late. Marlin, the messenger, had said that we had a enemy from far away looking to kill the Royal Family. He said not to trust anyone. But not knowing that Luke and Mom were on there way home from the bookstore when they found out that the driver  was not working for them. As soon as they got to the bookshop Luke had gotten the message from the bookkeeper that there was a enemy who had crossed the ocean to kill the Royal Family. But had not expected that the carriage driver was not the same person who they had hired. Luke found out that the driver was a fraud, till they noticed he was not taking them home. He had jumped off so he would not die not knowing that he would regret it. After they noticed there was no driver they had no time to jump out of the carriage. Before they knew it they were off the cliff. They never made it back to the palace. After 2 days after they went off the cliff no one knew where they have gone. All anyone knew was that they went to the bookstore and after that they were missing. A week after searching the news had spread out to our dad. We were surprised that he didn't  come home sooner but it turns out Marlin was stabbed forty-one  times. A group of the Royal Guard  was looking over cliffs and found the Royal crest on a carriage. They found out that they have been dead for a while but could never tell. We were all devastated. Kit was so torn apart by the death of her mother and twin. After a few years she went to their graves to visit them and she ended up almost died. Not eating or drinking for two weeks was a big problem. But it was fixable to Kit's father. Not as fixable as the death of he's believable  wife and son.

It was never the same after that.
