Lisa's point of view:
"Wow mom, you and Tony have been through a lot. I'm sorry he did that to you." I tell her, with tears filled in my eyes.
"He's your father, but I'm glad you're happy now." I told her.
"Yeah, I'm happier now than before." Pamela tells me as she smiles.
"So, do I have a sister or a brother?" I asked.
I'm not sure if I should be sad because my mother isn't thrilled that I'm not the only child.
"Yes, but I'm not familiar with the child." Aside from the fact that her mother is Scarlet." Mom mentioned.
"Why did you wait so long to tell me this?" I feel like I should have known about this years ago. As I previously stated.
My voice became low as I realized she was keeping so many things from me.
"You were still young...but now that you're more mature, it's appropriate to tell you that, since you're about to turn 16."
"Are you sure you understand?" Mom asked.
I knew she felt bad for keeping this from me for so long. "I see what you're saying. You're right, Mom.
"I was way too young." I mentioned.
"I'm so proud of you, Mom. You made so many sacrifices for me; you deserve the world." I start sobbing.
"I appreciate it, darling. That means everything to me." Mother exclaimed. "In fact-" she says.
"If you want to meet your father, I'll call him." Mom mentions it with a slight smile.
I started processing this in my head before I could respond.
Do I want to see my father for the first time? What will I tell him? These questions cause me to overthink.
"It's entirely up to you." My thoughts are interrupted by Mom.
"Please contact him." I sighed and smiled firmly.
The next day arrived.
Tony's point of view:
"Hello, Tony!" Pamela spoke.
"Hello, I'm glad you reached out to me; we need to talk." I informed her.
"Yes, we do; Lisa wants to see you, so come over for dinner; I'll send you my address." Pamela concurs.
She actually kept the name. I'm pleasantly surprised.
"Thank you very much. That would be fantastic; I'm looking forward to seeing you with my daughter Amy." I also added.
"Amy? What a sweet name." Pamela acknowledgement
''Yes.'' I concur.
A smile appeared on my face as we hung up the phone.
Pamela's point of view:
Why does that name sound so familiar? I'm probably overthinking it.
"Lisa, come downstairs, I have something to tell you!" I hollered.
"Yes Mom?" Lisa questions, as she gets downstairs.
"Tony will be here with his daughter Amy for dinner tonight." I went on.
