No Regrets (A Star Wars AU)

Foreword and Background Information

As I said in the description, please don't expect me to post regularly. I try to follow cannon as closely as possible, but of course when working an original character into a story, you got to work your way around some things. I have really enjoyed writing this, and if you do decide to read, take my shipping between Valin and Maul with a grain of salt. There will be smut, so if you don't want to read it, skip the chapter, since I made this in a way that the story can continue without it. Some of these chapters will be longer than others, I'm not trying to keep consistency. This story is set in his perspective. I may end up posting more stories about him and his past, and even future, if I decide they are good enough to post.

Valin was a Jedi, "born" on Dathomir, made for the planet. He was a force sensitive child, and also affected by Nightsister magick. He was unused and sent to live with his "family" on Geonosis. His parents died there when he is about 4-5, and he was taken in by Hondo Ohnaka. He was raised as a pirate, and eventually decided to join the Jedi Order when he was found by Mace Windu, he was around 12 years old. Mace ended up being a father to Valin, and he became his padawan for a few years. Valin has a purple lightsaber, and mainly uses forms 4, 6, and 7 for combat. Right before the Clone Wars, he was reassigned to become padawan to Obi-Wan Kenobi, he was 19 at the time. He became close with Anakin, Ahsoka, and the 501st. Since he was commander of the 212th, he also had many friends there, and considered clones his brethren. One of his best friends in the legion was Kam, (another original character). Valin was used during the war by Maul as bait for Obi-Wan, and became interested in his story. Valin struggled some with the dark side, but never went to that point in the war. He stayed in the order after Ahsoka's leave, and decided to go with her to the Siege of Mandalore, which is where this story begins. Valin was 22.

One more thing, this story is his corruption arc, and yes I am throwing you right into the middle of his life. Don't expect this to be a happy story.
