I'm sat down on the dining table with my head in my hands, George next to me, rubbing soothing circles on my back. As soon as I mention our address, Ava instantly hung up. Now I'm freaking out, because what else could she know about us? "Dream, it's okay, maybe you let it slip when you went out on your date? Maybe you just forgot?"
"But we didn't even touch on the subject on where we live. And she instantly hung up. She wouldn't have done that if I had told her." George looks away, knowing i'm right. "Well if you don't remember telling her, then we need to call the police-" "No!" I say, cutting him off. George raises his eyebrows and looks at me quizzically "I mean, I don't think that's the best way to handle it?" George lowers his eyes and gives me a look saying; 'Do you really think I'm that dumb?'. "What's the real reason?" I sigh, looking away. "This is serious stuff Dream."
