Greetings, new and old readers!
One day many years ago, I was listening to one of my mood playlists as I struggled through another bout of depression. I had Teen Wolf playing in the background; even though I couldn't hear it, it still provided me comfort to watch it. And then "Photograph" by Ed Sheeran came on during one of the few interactions between Stiles and Isaac. And, immediately, the idea for this work was born, as was my love for the Stisaac ship (I am still Sterek ftw, but...What can I say? I love all ships, apparently.)
I had this image in my head of a Polaroid of Dylan being his normal goofy self, and that, combined with the song, bred this! As some of you know, the blood in my veins is made up of music. I'm constantly inspired and healed by it, so there is, of course, a soundtrack for this work as well. It includes songs that directly inspired events in this work, or songs that reminded me of it as I listened and called out to me regarding certain events or emotions that I felt connected with the characters during this. Hopefully, you'll give it a listen :)
