It was a normal day on tour with Avenged Sevenfold.

Three heads swiveled towards the door of the bus as it banged open and the panting form of Zacky Vengeance ran in, stumbling along the way. No, he wasn't drunk, but he was fleeing from something. Everyone had a pretty good guess what. Zacky slid to a stop in front of Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan and his fiancé, Emarosa Shay, who were watching him with confused and amused expressions.

"Hide me!" Zacky breathed, panicked, glaring at Johnny Christ, who sat on the couch laughing at him, a Heineken in hand.

"In here, dude," said Jimmy, pointing to the bunk he was standing by. Zacky quickly dove in and pulled back the curtain, hiding him from view. Not a second after the curtain closed, the bus door was kicked open, slamming into the wall as a girl, about 26 or 27 years old, stalked in. She strolled right up to Jimmy and Emarosa, and glared daggers that could cut through steel. Her name was Briar Lucifer.

"Oi! Where is he?" she demanded through gritted teeth. Her voice had a thick Australian accent, and her snake bite rings, nose piercing, eyebrow pirecings, and tattoos did nothing to make her look less intimidating.

Jimmy pressed a finger to his lips before pointing to the bunk. Briar nodded, slowly pulling back the curtain. She smirked at the Zacky-sized lump in the covers before jumping straight up and landing sideways on top of him, elbow first.

The air left poor Zacky's lungs as he groaned, making Briar's smirk grow. She pulled the covers from Zacky's head, which was face down, and rested her arm there casually.

"You know, you may not weigh that much but you have one damn sharp elbow," he managed though the pillow. He coughed a few times as both Jimmy and Johnny laughed their asses off. Emmarosa shook her head with a smile.

"Why thank you. I take that as a compliment," Briar retorted, lying down on her back so that she and Zacky were back to back.

"Get off!" he whined, trying to push her off, but failing.

"Not until you apologize."

"I'm sorry."

"Sorry for what?" Zacky frowned again in a childish manor, causing the girl on top of him to dig her elbow harder into his ribs. He breathed in sharply.

"I'm sorry for stealing your bottle of Jack," he breathed.

"Which bottle?" Brair asked innocently, an evil glint in her eye.

"I'm sorry for stealing your last bottle of Jack without permission. Worst idea I ever had. Have mercy, oh great Australian goddess!" he said dramatically, flicking his hands up.

"Now was that so hard?

"Actually, yeah, considering your crushing my fucking lungs." Briar laughed, but didn't move from her position. "So, am I forgiven?"

"Well..." she ran a hand through her dark red hair, pretending to think. "You're forgiven if, you can name all my tattoos. As my best mate, you should be able to."

"All of them? Ok, let's see. You have the spider web on your neck, 'Vengeance' under your collar bone, the big deathbat across your shoulders, 'A7X' on your wrist- right wrist! Your right wrist, the Vengeance university symbol on your right bicep, the chain around your left bicep, the flame sleeve on your left arm, my guitar pick on your left hand, the huge A Little Piece of Heaven zombie couple with the knives on your back with 'Seize the day, or die regretting the time you lost' under it...uh, shit, let me think...uuuuhh..."

"Relax, mate, that was all of them," Brair said before rolling off of Zacky's back. He immediately sat up, taking a huge gulp of air.

"Oh, sweet oxygen!" he yelled, then flopped down onto his back. The Australian flicked him in the head before lying down next to him.
