Chapter 14

Bettys POV

I finally made it to the apartment building parking behind the red Dodge The truck I've seen in the cameras capture. I got out the car then went to the door and looked up.the building wasn't that bad besides the hobos and Prostitutes. I got a napkin out of my purse and opened the door.

The door opened to a lobby looking place . It smelled like alcohol and vomit. "Can I help you miss?" The man behind the counter asked . He looked like he was in his mid 30s, full uncut beard ,with brownish black hair. He kinda looks like archies uncle. "Yes sir I'm looking for Toni topaz" I replied. Not wanting to use her whole name.

"Hmm ... Describe him" he said "he's a she" I said covering my body because he have a staring problem "oh I'm sorry she .what does she look like?" he cleared his throat when I noticed his problem. "She's about 6'4, pink hair, hazel brown eyes." I described "yes she's here .. room 2b."he said. I fake smiled and walked away without saying thank you. I was too scared to take the elevator so I just took the stairs.
"2b" I said as I finally made it to the door I knocked then waited .watching my surroundings. Just then I see the man at the desk walking around. I knocked again. I didn't think much of it till I realized he kept coming bye "Toni open the door" I shout .

Seconds later the door opened and I was snatched into the room. " Betty what are you doing here?" Toni asked looking down at me angry "I came to find your dumb ass" I cross my arms " do you know how dangerous it is out there?" "Yea I can see that" I said sarcastically
"Why are you here Betty?" She signed "I came to take you home" I answered she walked away with her hands on her head . I followed her looking around the apartment most things were trashed and she drank all the alcohol but besides that it was pretty cool . We walked to the living room to see the table filled with guns and weed products. She sat down "I can't go back" she said shaking her head which was in her hands.

"Toni I get what your saying but -" "no you don't Betty you wasn't there .you didn't see her face .... She was crying because of me .... I don't ever want that to happen again." She said . 'she is to sweet for her own good' I thought to myself shaking my head sitting down "look Toni ,I know you feel guilty for your dumb decisions but you can't just run. You have responsibilities like your dogs , your brothers, your gang . You can't just move away from all of that ." I reasoned

"Your right Betty" she signed "it's just the feeling. I just met her and she's doing something to me that no one else ever done to me .like I haven't slept with a bitch sense I met her .I've killed less people . When we kissed it was like fireworks in my stomach. And when I hurt her ... my heart started hurting. It was like I was stabbed through the heart.my heart is broken .I had to escape." She ranted

"You can't just run . You have to make it up to her .and it better be quickly." I said about to get up "why quickly?" She asked "well see when you left the serpents assumed Cheryl killed you so they're trying to get her."I explained "WHAT?" She shouted standing up grabbing her things"we have to go"she said putting on shoes and grabbing her guns suffing them into her pants "what about your things?" I questioned

"I can get that replaced I can't get her replaced" she said rushing out the door. We make it to the elevator two men walk in with us .one of the men was the one from the desk. He was looking at me like a dog. Toni must have seen it because she pulled me behind her.

As we get off the elevator we rushed to the door "bye sexy !" The man yelled. Toni stopped in her tracks turning around. "Toni relax" I said calmly once I noticed her face. She took a deep breath before walking calmly to the man. When she reached him they made eye contact. without saying a word Toni punched the guy in the face knocking him out cold like a rag doll "Toni!"I shout rushing to her pulling her out the building

"What was that for"I asked "I don't like how he was looking at you." She responded .I rolled your eyes "now let's go save my wife"she said going to her  truck .

We finally made it back to Riverdale it's almost 1 in the morning .Toni was definitely going over 80mph . Right now I'm heading home proud of myself . Solving another case. Toni went to start a serpents meeting to stop this nonsense .I also told her where the bunker is so she can get Cheryl back . I took a nice long bath relaxing my muscles.then I put on my Pajamas getting in bed preparing for school tomorrow knowing it all will be back to normal or at least that's what I thought.

Tonis POV

I know I'm wrong for running away from my problems but I was drunk and  in a bad place and I know that's most peoples excuse but I'm a little different if you didn't know . I rushed to the worm . As I'm on my way to the wyte worm I see graffiti everywhere. "Damn can't go nowhere" I said to myself

I made it to the white worm I busted threw the doors and did the serpents whistle . Everyone looked at me and gasped " call all serpents for a meeting now!!" I shouted everyone left. "When peaches come in,tell her to come in my office" I said before walking to my office

I sat in my chair waiting for them to Come back. My mind is going crazy 'what if she doesn't forgive me?' 'What if its too late?' My  mind is going wild. As I'm thinking the door busted opened and I was quickly unbraced in a tight long hug.I hugged back knowing who I'm hugging she smells like.."hey peaches" I said "hey Toni" she said then step back punching me right in the nose

"Aww fuck" I winced in pain holding my bleeding nose "where the fuck were you for that long?" She shouted as I ran behind my desk avoiding her. "You were gone for 1week and 3days" she shouted throwing things at me since she couldn't catch me "look I'm here now and I need you to help me with something"I said ducking  and dodging the things she was throwing . "Ok tell me" she said  crossing her arms

"Ok before anything I have to ask where's my brothers?" I asked since I haven't seen the boys yet. " they went to find you" she answered "oh well can you call them?" I asked "what happened to your phones"she asked pulling out her phone "I kinda went on a drunk rampage  again and threw  them out the window" I said scratching the back of my head.

She threw her phone at me " you idiot !"she shouted "do you know if your enemies find those phone they can hack into them getting all of your information?" She asked shouting "I was drunk peaches!" I reasoned picking up her phone giving to to her since it was locked . She  FaceTimed my brothers as she rolled her eyes .

"Hello" jughead answer sadly "where's your brothers" she asked Him"there right here .we're in a hotel room" he answered "well look who I found ." Peaches said before pulling me into the view of the camera "OH MY GOD TONI !" He shouted  causing fangs and sweetpea to run to him. "Where were you?" Sweetpea shouted as fangs grabbed his keys"we're on our way" he said then hung up.
"Ok now let's get them in check" I said once I heard the bar getting full.

After the serpents meeting I told melody to get me two new phones and set them up for me.  And I sent some serpents to find my old ones .Right now I'm heading towards the woods to check on my wife .I got out of my truck and followed Bettys directions. after a couple minutes of walking I finally found the bunker door. I turned the door and went down the ladder . I walked threw a small tunnel like hallway to a small room. it smelled like over used  candles. I looked to my right to see my  Red headed goddess sleeping in what looked like a jail bed with cleaned sheets.

I really don't want her here .I would carry her but I don't want to wake her. I also don't want to leave her so I closed the door to the bunker before coming back. I pulled my hoodie over my head before taking my shoes off . I took my shirt off leaving me in just my joggers , socks and a white beater. I layed next to her careful not wake her. I cuddle into her at first she jumped but soon relaxed and cuddled into me more when she smelled my neck .which was so odd it made me laugh. I sighed knowing she will hurt me tomorrow. So I'll in joy the peace while I can ... this might be my last.
