Ciel lies draped across the couch in one of Trancy manor's many drawing rooms. His body flails limp, his wrists folded across his chest. He looks like a corpse, with that flower in his hair. Dressed only in his nightclothes.
He hasn't said a word since he found them this evening. He retired to his bedroom, undressed and showered himself (a task Sebastian expected him to fail at) and returned downstairs. Hannah made him a cup of fresh tea without being asked.
Alois watches him from the armchair. This was exciting at first. It's getting boring.
"Well, Claude? Aren't you going to tell our young friend?" He clicks his emerald ring against his teeth.
"Tell him what, Master?"
"About how you seduced his Butler, whatever else!" He spits, suddenly on edge. His body shudders.
"It was rather the other way around," Sebastian mutters behind his hand. "But please, Young Master. At least inform us of your safety,"
"Don't talk like a butler," Ciel opens his eye. "We are all demonic here, by blood or not. So tell me the truth. Tell me it all, right now,"
Sebastian does, with interludes from Claude. He tells of their contract (demons may have multiple open contracts, a clause Ciel was not aware of) and their time sneaking off into the wilderness together.
"And, Young Master, I may only ask for your permission to continue my relationship, as underhanded as I have been," Sebastian bows, his hand dutifully across his breast.
Ciel hasn't moved, his expression hasn't changed from sulking disapproval. He rests his head on his wrist. "Come here,"
Sebastian returns to his full height and walks over. "Yes, Maste-?"
A loud slap rings through the room. Alois squeals in delight.
Sebastian's head jerks to the side, feeling blood dribble down his cheek from where Ciel's ring stuck him. He looks back at his Master, awaiting the rejection.
"This does not violate our contract," sip.
Sebastian's eyes widen slightly. It isn't easy to surprise the demon. Any demon. But this little human...
His visible surprise is short-lived. His mouth widens to a smile. "Do I have your blessing, Master?"
"I won't order you to leave him,"
"My thanks, Master," Sebastian bows. He catches Claude's eye through his hair, his own glowing red with demonic intensity. Demons' eyes glow red to accompany the intensity of their emotions, whether rage or lust. Sebastian's now glow with glee.
"But we wont be remaining here," he quips as Sebastian diligently wipes the blood from his ring. "If you want to continue this fruitless gambit, it'll be at the Phantomhive manor,"
Sebastian looks at Claude. Claude to Alois. "Your Highness, I an appalled with myself for asking, but-"
"Yes, Claude. If it makes you a better butler, I'll happy play your little game of follow the demon," his fork stabs the vulnerable egg sitting on his plate. "There's certainly noone here for me to miss," his sharp eyes land on Ciel. "But I'm bringing my servants too!"
Ciel sighs. "Very well,"
