Prepared for this for months
I had painted my high top converse blue , pink and purple
Rainbow eye makeup
A oversized rainbow shirt
Listening to blackpink while preparing
Myself to come out to my grandparents
A small sixth grader climbing into the passenger seat
Of my mom's white jeep
And driving until we got there
I had told my uncle and aunt who accepted me
But when it was time to reveal to my grandparents
They told me that I was going to hell
Yelling and screaming and crying
Rainbow eyeshadow tears running down my
Face as I climbed into my mom's car
She told me that they were stupid
And that she loves me and accepts me
