Hah, this chapter is barely a chapter, but I feel bad for not posting in so long, so here's a tiny crumb of writing. Enjoy...
Beep. Beep. Beep.
Harmony wanted to cry.
But nonetheless, she got up, walked over to her alarm, turned it off, and began jogging in place. Glancing at her watch, she saw she only had xxx steps so far. If she wanted to reach her goal by the end of the day, she was going to have to work really hard. Especially since she changed her goal to be harder and harder each and every day.
After ten or so minutes of jogging in place, Harmony popped into the bathroom to pee, then turned on her desk lamp and went to her full-length mirror. She was covered in sweat and breathing heavily, but excited to see how she looked first thing in the morning.
Harmony lifted her head up to look in the mirror, and...
Oh.
Okay, then.
Well.
Then.
Well then, she'd just have to eat less.
Even though she already ate less yesterday than she did the day before, and less the day before than the day before that.
It didn't matter.
After all, she was fat.
