♡ chapter 53 ♡

The clock was showing around seven in the evening as taehyung was dragging his luggage out of the apartment. He had made sure that he already tucked Jimin under his cover and put a bottle of water and some medicine close to him.

He then send a text to Jimin to tell him that he already heading to airport, just in case  that the other omega will look for him after he woke up later.

"kim taehyung ah"

The omega shut his head to the back, searching for the owner of the voice. He spotted the familiar alpha wearing just a casual outfit but in the same time look neat on him. Taehyung could not help but to raise his eyebrows at the alpha.

"i told you that i will use cab"
he said with a pair of wide eyes.

"but i still want to drop you off"
yoongi took the luggage and lead the omega to his car.

Taehyung smiled at the effort that the alpha showed to him. He could not help but to smile all the way to the airport as yoongi sat next to him while humming along the song playing from the speaker.

Meanwhile in the other hand, Jimin was stirred up from his deep slumber. He had slept for a few hours since taehyung left to airport earlier. Jimin felt his feet were freezing cold again as he shifted his position to get comfortable on the bed.

He choked on his sob when he felt all his limbs turned weak and making it hard for him to move around. It has been awhile since he got a bad fever like this and he never expect he will get one.

"baby, did you have nightmare?"

The omega peeled his eyes open and his breath seemed to get a bit quicker than before. Jimin shut his head to his side only to find Jeon Jungkook was sitting there in his black shirt and sweatpants.

"j-jungkook hyung?"

He whimpered as he tried to change his position to sit on the bed but the killing headache did not allow him to move that much after he just woke up. Tears began to flow down his face even more faster than before as he kept mumbling the alpha's name over and over again.

"I'm here, it's okay"
Jungkook said while ruffling his hair.

He then took a seat the edge of the bed and help the omega to be in his embrace without moving too much. Some faint sobs from Jimin can be heard as the alpha put his palm over their foreheads to test the temperature.

Jimin was still burning hot from the fever but he just clutched his hand tight on the alpha, not wanting to let him go.

"i want to order food delivery so how about i help you to take a shower while waiting for the food to be delivered?"

The omega did not replied him as Jungkook just hummed and help him seat comfortably on his lap, making the omega facing him in the same time.

"let's get to the bathroom"

Without struggling, the alpha managed to carry the omega towards the single bathroom located inside the room as well. It was a bit bigger since this one located in the master bedroom.

He spotted a bath tub which had caused the alpha to sigh in relief. Jimin was still sobbing in his embrace as he brought his hand up to draw some circles on his back to comfort the crying omega.

"lean your back against the wall, i need to prepare the water for you first okay?"
Jungkook instructed as he put Jimin on the counter next to the sink.

The omega obeyed while Jungkook wiped his tears using both of his thumb, preventing any more tears from flowing down his face. Jungkook smiled as he approached the bath tub and filled it with water, hand testing the temperature to make sure it was perfect.

"remove your- never mind, let me help"

They did not being in the bathroom for too long as the alpha can be seen was carrying Jimin who was wrapped in a white thick towel around his body, his blonde hair was still wet since the alpha did not get to dry them properly earlier.

As Jungkook was busy dressing jimin up in his loose shirt and a pair of shorts after drying his hair, someone rang the door bell which must be the delivery guy. Jimin lifted his gaze up to look at the alpha as a soft peck landed on his right cheek, causing the omega to blush.

"wait right here"
Jungkook ruffled the omega's hair before he made his way to the door.

Jimin nodded his head before he glued his eyes to look over his lap, his short fingers playing with the bottom of his shirt. The action managed to distract him as he heard footsteps coming towards his direction.

"kookie"

The alpha raised his eyebrows as he placed the food packages on the nearby table. He then approaching the bed where Jimin was seated from earlier.

"what is it baby?"

"you aren't busy with office work?"
Jimin asked and lowered his head.

He could not help but to think the alpha was actually busy, the Jeon Jungkook is a billionaire businessman so he must be real busy at his office. The thought had caused the omega to feel uneasy.

"why should i busy when I'm the boss?"
Jungkook joked with a small smile plastered on his face.

"y-you're billionaire.."
Jimin muttered with a pout on his lips.

The alpha hummed in confusion while tilting his head to the side. He noticed that Jimin seemed a bit off so he had decided to change the atmosphere a bit.

"are you kicking me out?"
Jungkook raised his eyebrows.

"n-no! I'm not- i w-won't do that!"
Jimin said frantically as he can feel his eyes began to shed tears.

"i just miss y-you so bad.."
He added before he finally sobbing out loud, hiding his face into his palms.
