"Are we there yet?" You complained to your red haired companion. Hearing a deep, but cheerful chuckle from your side, you simply pouted.
"You're quite impatient today, babe." He slithered his warm hand on your thigh, having it an assuring rub with his thumb.
"Of course I am! As soon as I got out of the shower, you immediately placed a blindfold on me!" Your hands flew everywhere. Shanks making sure he would dodge every movement.
"Stop moving so much, and we're almost there. Don't worry!" Saying with a sweet tone before patting your head like a puppy. A tint of blush crept to your cheeks at the adorable gesture. Shanks shifted his full attention back to the road, whilst you made yourself more comfortable in the seat.
The redhead reached for the stereo, turning it on. "What do you wanna play?" He gave you his signature smile, but you shifted your gaze outside, not wanting to give in. Shanks sweatdropped at your stubbornness.
Deciding the song to be played, he entered the song 'The Nights'. He gave a sly smirk towards you, knowing full well that your mood would change immediately at this.
Once upon a younger year;

The song started, Shanks stealing glances your way as well.

The man started to bang his fist on the steering wheel, on beat with the song.

Shanks shouted with full feelings, "Come on, (Y/N)!"
He said: "One day you'll leave this world behind,
So live a life you will remember".
My father told me when I was just a child,
You finally sang along with your boyfriend, screaming your heart out.
"These are the nights that never die"!
You alone sang,
MY FATHER TOLD ME!
The other continued.
When the beat dropped, the both of you danced and enjoyed the moment, of course, still driving carefully.
(i'm going to skip the next verse lol, but this song is the best!)
You felt the vehicle stop, indicating that you have arrived. The car doors clicked and some movement happened. You waited for a few before feeling your side of the door opened.
