Y/N and Draco had been a couple for a few months now, and Draco's parents were sick of seeing their name in all of Dracos letters.

Draco talked about Y/N so much that as soon as the word came out of his mouth, most people stopped listening.

Draco's mother finally wrote back to one of Draco's letters inquiring about his significant other.

My dear Draco,

You seem to talk about your significant other so much, I can tell you're head-over-heels for them. What house are they in? Do they have a favorite sweet? What might they like for (favorite holiday)?

I can't wait to meet them!

With love,

Mother

Draco wrote back enthusiastically, but one questing stumped him. He never payed close enough attention to Y/N's house.

They were incredibly smart and talented, exceedingly kind, extremely brave, and undoubtedly ambitious.

In his letter he concluded to his mother that he was unsure and would have to ask them himself.

The next morning was Saturday, and Draco got up at his usual time of 7 am. He knew Y/N would probably sleep in until noon, and decided to go to the library and catch up on some studying.

He sat down at a table with his friends and asked them which house they thought Y/N was in.

Most of them said Gryffindor. But a few said Hufflepuff.

Draco noted this and asked his friends at lunch. They all said the same thing.

Surely Y/N was too nice for Slytherin, and didn't study enough to be in Ravenclaw.

Draco thought Y/N would be up and about at this time, and he went to search for them.

He found them in the (favorite hangout spot).

"Hey, love," he said as he sat next to them.

"Hey," they replied.

"I never noticed what house you were in. Which is it?" He said, getting straight to the point.

"You didn't know? I'm in Slytherin." Draco was taken by surprise.

"Really? Everyone thinks you're in gryffindor." He tilts his head at her

"Wow. Why didn't they think I was in Slytherin?"

"Well, you're too nice and-"

"Damn didn't know you're friends were THAT close minded. You know there are nice Slytherins in the world, right?"

"Sorry, I just-"

"You don't have to apologize, it's not your fault. I'm just sad that there is such a bad stigma around Slytherin house."

"Yeah. I hate that people don't want to be in our house."

"We should make it our goal to get rid of  the bad rep."

"Sure."

They sat for the rest of the day brainstorming ideas.

A/N: Hello! Welcome back! I hope your enjoyed this chapter! Have a wonderful day/night and remember to get some sleep!
