(YOUR POV)
"Darcy, are you ready to go?" you asked as you peeked into her room.
She was struggling to put on her socks after she kicked you out of her room, saying she was a big girl, and can dress herself.
"Mummy, I think the socks are broken."
You cachinnated and picked her up, placing her on your lap.
"Socks can't be broken baby." You told her as you effortlessly slipped the sock onto her tiny feet.
"I fixed it for you." She mumbled, causing you to break into fits of giggles.
"C'mon, Uncle Louis is waiting to see you."
Her face lit up like a Christmas tree as she leaped onto the ground, and ambled towards the door.

I smiled and took another sip of my coffee.
"You seem troubled, are you alright?" Eleanor asked as she placed her hand on top of mine.
I shook my head and patted the back of her hand.
"I'm fine babe."
She nodded and returned her attention to her phone.
A couple minutes later, I recognized 2 familiar figures entering the shop.
"(Y/N)! Darcy!" I exclaimed.
She turned towards us with a huge grin spread across her face.
"Uncle Louis!" Darcy squealed.
"DARCY!" I chirped as I scooped her up.
She giggled and kissed my cheek.
"How's my beautiful niece?" I cooed.
She buried her face in the crook of my neck and laughed as I tickled her sides.
My eyes landed on my tired looking best friend. Her usual bright eyes were dull, her hair was lifeless, and the bags under her eyes were evident.
I handed her to Eleanor before embracing (Y/N) in a hug.
She let out a sigh and rested her head on my chest.
"Hey (Y/N)."
"Hey Lou." She replied.
I inhaled and ruffled her hair, pulling her thin body closer to me. I can tell she hasn't been sleeping, or eating well..
"Brownie!" Darcy chirped.
"You want a brownie baby?" (Y/N) asked, peeling herself away from me.
She nodded and clapped her hands.
"Alright, Lou, can you get it for her? I need to use the restroom."
"Sure!" I replied.
She handed me her purse and walked off.
I smiled and placed Darcy on my lap.
"How's mommy?"
Her face dropped a little.
"Mummy cried yesterday." She replied softly.
I was about to ask her why, when the door opened, and an angry Harry stormed inside.
