15. Destined

Rona and Seokhoon have been studying in different countries for 3 years now which means they have been in a long distance relationship for that Long. Seokhoon would go to Italy during his vacation and would stay with Rona but every time he has to go back to New York, Rona would start crying because she does not want Seokhoon to leave but of course she understood that he had to.

Once Seokhoon graduated from school he was invited to join many orchestras and also held concerts. Two months after He graduated, Rona messaged him and asked if he can be her pianist for her graduation performance which made him happy so he cleared out his schedule just for her. Little did Rona know that he was also preparing a surprise for her.

Rona practice day and night for her graduation performance with her best friend as her pianist because Seokhoon had performances. Rona chose a song that her mom recommended to her and the moment she started practicing it, people who heard her practice were amazed at her voice and how she delivers the emotion of the song.

Everyone was excited for Rona's graduation performance as she was the best singer out of the whole batch and also has won a lot of awards as she competed at different competitions. Her classmates and closest friends call her "Prima Rona".

Seokhoon arrived three days before her graduation so he can practice with her. The moment Seokhoon arrived in Italy Rona had the biggest smile on her face because she missed him so much. They both practiced day and night especially Seokhoon because he wanted to make sure that he will not make any mistakes while playing the piano for Rona.

On the day of Rona's graduation, they were both excited and nervous. Excited because they will be performing together for the first time and nervous because they were performing in front of a lot of people together for the first time.

The moment Seokhoon and Rona were called to perform, they both walked onto the stage together. Seokhoon started playing the piano and then Rona started to sing. While they were performing everyone couldn't help but concentrate on them because their performance was outstanding.

Once they finished their performance, everyone in the audience were standing on their feet clapping for the two of them and then suddenly everyone started clapping and cheering which made Rona shocked and then someone taps her shoulder from behind.

Rona looks back to see Seokhoon holding a bouquet of flower, then he kneels down and takes out a white box from his blazer's pocket. Rona didn't understand the situation right away but once Seokhoon opened the box and Revealed the ring she started to tear up.

"The first time we met in High school is still vivid to me, the way we bumped into each other, the way I caught you before you fell, the way you cried in my arms because you had a bad dream, the smile you had on your face every time we were together, Whenever I recall all our memories together a smile appears on my face. Ever since we started studying in different countries I had a hard time because all I can think about is when I will get to see you again, when will I be by your side and when while I get to hold you in my embrace.

You are the best thing that happened in my life. You pulled me out of my box and showed me colors I never seen before. I always want it to be that way and it will always be that way. I'm kneeling before you this day on this stage, asking you one question that can change my life forever. Bae Rona will you marry me?"

The moment Seokhoon said those words, she put a smile on her and nodded her head in response. Seokhoon put the ring on her finger, stood up and pulled her in his embrace. The whole audience were clapping their hands as they were happy for them.

While the two of them were hugging, Rona asked Seokhoon a question

"Does my mom know about this?" Rona asks making him giggle and he replies

"Your mom and my mom are watching us right now." Seokhoon tells Rona which makes her look at the audience to spot her mother and she did but at the same time realized that they were having a sweet moment in front of a lot of people which made her cheeks turn red and so she signaled  Seokhoon to bow so they can exit the stage.

Once they both arrived backstage the other performers congratulated Rona on her performance and Engagement. Rona thanked them and then the two went to their waiting room, the moment she entered her parents, sibling and friends from Korea were there to congratulate her.

Seokhoon wanted to make this a memorable day so He invited the people Rona missed.

Rona was the happiest person right know because she was able to give an amazing performance, she got engaged to the person she loves the most, and was able to spend time with people that made her life a good one.

6 months later

Rona and Seokhoon were at the beach to watch the sunset. They were holding hands while walking on the sand barefoot. They looked at each other with so much love and happiness in their eyes knowing that no one can stop them from being happy with each other. The vows they told each other on their wedding day a month ago were tattooed in their hearts.

As they watched the sunset Rona leaned on Seokhoon's shoulder while He put his head on hers. The sunset made them become emotional knowing that every time the sunsets they will be in each other's arms and when the sun rises the next day they will wake up in each other's embrace.

"Rona-yah" Seokhoon grabs Rona's attention making her move her head a little upward and then he continues

"Do you remember when you told me that you had a dream where you died" Seokhoon asked Rona making her nod her head

"I had one similar to yours" Seokhoon says making rona sits up properly and look at him

"You had a dream that you died?" Rona asks Seokhoon but he shake his head then put his hand on her head and starts caressing her hair

"I had a dream where I was sitting by a gravestone and the name that was written on it was yours. Then you told me at your house 6 years ago that you had a dream where you were alive and that I ran to you and hugged you, right?"

"Yeah, I did, why?" Rona asked

"I had the same one 6 years ago" Seokhoon tells Rona and then looks at the sun until Rona calls out his name. Knowing that Seokhoon had the same dreams as her made her extra happy.

"Seokhoon-ah" Rona grabs Seokhoon's attention and tells him three words she will never get tired of telling him

"I love you"

"I love you too Rona-yah"
