The wedding

The wedding was beautiful. It had a big church, they chose this place because they both met here. I thought that was cute.
Brad: hey, are you enjoying?
Me: yeah I guess
Brad: (tearing up) I love my mom, I'm so proud that she could find another true love.
Me: hey, don't make me cry now! Your mom is a really nice person and I'm also happy.
Brad: can I tell you something personal?
Me: (a little too excited) what?
Brad: do you want to know why my mom left my dad?
Me: umm- I don't know ugh , don't you think that's a little too personal.
Brad: your my best friend!
Me:ok tell me
Brad: he hit me (tears ran down his eyes) he-he-he hit me mom too, he made cuts and scratches on both out backs. My dad was a alcoholic, he didn't care he wanted us to die. He would always say, "I'm going to get older, but I'm going to kill you guys before I die."
Me: Brad I'm so-
Brad: sorry? Your sorry , don't be it's my moms day and we're supposed to be happy
He wiped all his tears and and got up. But I grabbed him by the hand before he left, and pulled up his shirt. I saw all the scars of belts and scratches of nails.
Me: Brad, I'm here for you okay? I love yo-
Brad: (shocked by my words) I-I love you too
We then hugged and laughed, it was so dramatic I had to laugh.
Pastor guy: "do you take this women as your beloved wife, to health and sickness?
I do
Pastor guy: "do you take this man as your husband in health and sickness?
I do
Me: this is so beautiful
Brad: (crying happy tears) yes it is
The married couple put their rings and kissed, it was the most beautiful thing I ever saw. They were perfect.
They left for the honey moon.
Me: well that was beautiful
Brad: Yep
Me: so can I sleep over, my mom doesn't care
Brad sure, you can sleep in my bed I'll sleep on the couch
Me: okay
