Now to announce prom king and queen
Brad: Do you want to get out of here?
Me: Wait let me see who wins
Brad: Why?
Me: To see you know what it's like to get royalty
Brad: It's just a piece of plastic
Me: Exactly! I want to see their reaction when they realize it's just plastic
Brad: Well okay
Me: Let's see this
Principle:Okay please settle down ladies and gentlemen. Now presenting prom king and queen! (Crowd starts clapping rapidly) Okay! Now for the moment you all been waiting for......The king of this prom is...........Claude Simon!!!!!Sir please come up here to receive your crown. (Clause is one of those popular jerks, in my opinion) Now get your hands together for the queen, who is...................Jordan!!!!!!!
Me: What! No that's a mistake, nobody even voted
Principle: Umm Jordan please come up to the stage to receive your crown
I went up to the stage and I could feel all eyes burning on me. I could laughter of the people that hacked the system to pick me, so I would be embarrassed. But the thing was I wasn't embarrassed. I'm always talking about how I'm not popular and don't want to be seen. Inside I do want to be noticed. Just a little spotlight will do. This was my spotlight.
Principle: Now the king and queen may dance
Me: Oh no, I'm not dancing with him!!
Principle: I beg your pardon
Me:(pulling Brad by the tie) Sir he's not my king (I said pointing to Claude) this is my Prince (pointing to Brad)and I'm going to dance with him sir.
Principle: Umm okay?
The spotlight was all on us, I didn't hear nothing but a pen drop. All eyes were on us. It was wondering. That's when I knew I wanted to spend my whole life with Brad. Next year was college, but maybe after college. Well for now I'll just act my age, me and Brad are a dating. I'm very happy about that, but I already found my husband.
