Kisses Are Sweeter Than Cupcakes

Park Chaeyoung thought that being a mom is an easy work... well, she realized that it wasn't. As a mother of one; two, considering that her 27-year-old wife acts like a child most of the time; Chaeyoung needs something to get her mind out of the stress of parenthood, but then again, she needs something that can entertain not only herself but also her 3-year-old daughter and of course her 27-year-old wife.

So, she decided that Saturday morning to adopt a new hobby and without second thoughts announced it in front of her "loyal" audience.

Riley and Jennie are sitting on the couch having their '2nd breakfast' while "My Little Phony" is playing on the screen.

"Okay, I'm decided" Chaeyoung started.

She stands in front of the TV covering the screen that made the duo on the couch moved places so that they can see the show again. Sighing because of her family's betrayal, Chaeyoung thought of a perfect wake up call.

"I'm leaving"

Riley's jaw was left open as she was about to eat a spoonful of banana yogurt when she heard her Mommy. Jennie's nerves were alarmed and eyed her distance towards the door in case Chaeyoung really leaves.

"That got your attention" Chaeyoung said and cleared her throat for the announcement of the day.

"Mommy, don't leave" Riley said.

"I won't, baby" she said.

"But... I've decided on something" she added.

"What is it? I'll do everything!" Jennie said.

"Stop over reacting, Jen. I just wanted to say that I'll learn baking and the two of you will be my assistants" Chaeyoung finally announced.

"Oh... okay let's start" Jennie said like a good wife that she is, would do anything immediately just for Chaeyoung.

"CUPCAKES!" Riley shouted excitedly.

And then the family started their baking adventures and live happily ever after the end!

30 minutes ago, Chaeyoung realized that being a parent is not an easy thing to do then 30 minutes later, she realized that picking baking as her hobby is one of the wrong decisions that she made in her entire life.

The kitchen is a mess, flour scattered on the kitchen counter, on the floor and on the three of them, because apparently Chaeyoung didn't know how to use the electric mixer that they had to google it.

Riley got distracted and played with the flour like it was snowing. And Jennie? She knows eventually that Rosie will change her mind simply because she knows that  Chaeyoung and Cooking wasn't really a great match although her wife makes edible dishes, the woman isn't really a pro in the kitchen.

Jennie and Riley wasn't really the best assistants but they make a great duo. They simply agree on almost everything like when Chaeyoung asked what flavor of cupcakes they want to make they decided on red velvet with cream cheese filling and chocolate frosting.

Also, there are 3 things that made Chaeyoung frustrated in 30 minutes of her baking career. First is the electric mixer, second is the measurements and last but not the least Riley and Jennie like right now;

"Have anybody seen the whisk?" she asked.

She wanted to clean up before pulling out the cupcakes out from the oven. She finished the filling and the frosting and ready for piping. She heard no answers so she had to look back and check on the duo only to find them licking the frosting off from the damn whisk.
