A weak yelp escaped Himiko's lips as another smack hit her face, for sure bruising it. Her cheeks were burning and tears started collecting in her eyelashes, making her vision blurry. 'Don't cry. That's exactly what they want.' She told herself.
"Aw, is our little pancake gonna' cry?" An annoyingly shrill voice egged her on, that of which belonging to Miu Iruma. "Pancake?" Kaede inquired, cringing. "Yeah, makes sense doesn't it?" Miu justified inching closer to the smaller girl's face, causing Himiko to flinch. "She's as flat as one anyways." Miu hit Himiko again, this time hard enough to feel a powerful sting in her left cheek. "Heh, cut it out Miu, before she uses her "mAgiC" to put a curse on us!" Kaede taunted. The endless laughter of two evil adolescents rang throughout the school hallway. That was the final straw. Humiliated, hurt, and to weak to stand up for herself Himiko did all that she could. Run away, with tears gushing down her bruised face. Not a soul daring to come to her aid.

Himiko furiously slammed her bedroom door shut, knocking several books down from her shelf. Most were just dumb children books about animals but among them were Harry Potter novels. She had been obsessed with those books ever since she was a kid and had every single book, proudly displayed up on her shelf. They were considered her most prized possessions- well that and a fake spell book she bought off Amazon. Leaving them lying on the dirty floor wasn't an option. Among her collection was an unfamiliar book that she'd never seen before. It was jet black an had a golden pentagram on it, titled "Dark Magic for Dummies". Himiko had no recollection of buying it at all, and especially not letting it infiltrate the shelf of her precious Harry Potter books.
Normal people would have just thrown the book away, sold it, or better yet burnt it to ashes since it was obviously demonic, but Himiko was anything but normal.. She had been practicing the occult and dark magic ever since she was 12. A book like this randomly appearing in her collection could only mean one thing. The universe had finally acknowledged her magical potential! By now Himiko was squealing like a 10 year old girl seeing Noah Beck.
She didn't waste any time, immediately opening the book and examining the spells and incantations. The possibilities were endless. Maybe she'd make herself rich and famous then flex on all the haters at school, or maybe she'd just brutally kill them. Either way, it was a win-win for the little mage. Her one way ticket to happiness was written in this book. After a few minutes of browsing through the pages something caught her eye.
A 100 year curse spell; it could give the target ifemeral luck and
