Himiko gazed at the sinister grinning creature standing only inches away from her. She stared at it for a while, not daring to say a word in fear of agitating it. Himiko watched as it reaches stretched, yawning dramatically. "Ah, it's been so long since I've been summoned.~ A thousand years in hell can really take a toll on ya, can't it?" The creature said, cracking it's back. "Hmm. Not much of a talker are ya'? Or maybe I'm just that bewitching?" It joked, staring at Himiko expectantly and getting annoyed when it didn't get the reaction it wanted. "Oh come on! That was hilarious! No wonder you have no friends at school.." It said cruelly. Himiko shouted out a "Hey!" in protest, but silenced herself after realizing the position she was in. It's probably not a good idea to start an argument with this random demonic creature.

The creature just laughed at her dismay, entertained. "I'm just kidding! Please don't curse me!" The creature begged sarcastically, still determined to get a reaction out of Himiko. That was the final straw. Himiko grabbed a sharp letter opener sitting conveniently on her bedside table. She held it up to the aggravating little intruders neck, daring it to say another invasive joke. "Enough! Who are you?! What do you want?! Why do you know so much about me?!" Himiko yelled, hands unsteadily gripping the sharp object. She was terrified and wanted this creepy..thing out of her home as soon as possible. The creature only laughed at the pathetic attempt at defending herself. "Nishishi, what terrible form!~ If you really wanna' stab me then you should hold it like this." It instructed, grabbing her hand and guiding it to the correct position. "Though I will give you points for creativity. I've never seen someone use a letter opener as a weapon."

Himiko scowled. She pushed the letter opener closer to the creature, daring to cut it. "Answer me!" She yelled, tired of this game. The creature sighed, that disappointed child face appearing once more. "So you can threaten a demon but can't protect yourself from bullies? Geez, you're a real are a piece of work, y'know that?" It said, exasperated. "But fine, since you're asking so nicely, I guess I can answer your questions." The creature grabbed Himikos arms, effortlessly pulling the letter opener away from his neck.

"My name is Kokichi Ouma, Hell's Prince of Mischief! I'm a demon, if you haven't already guessed.~" He announced, striking a dramatic pose. Himiko stared blankly at the demon, not finding amusement in this situation. Kokichi frowned at the lack of a reaction. "Wow, tough crowd.." He mumbled, slumping over sadly as he took a seat on Himiko's bed. "Mhmm..How does that have anything to do with me? Why are you in my room?" She asked. Kokichi smirked. Took her long enough to ask. "Don't look so irritated, shortie.~ My presence here is the consequences of your own actions." He said without elaborating, much to Himiko's annoyance. Could this thing be anymore annoying? Is it that hard to give clear answers? Kokichi crossed his arms behind his head, unbothered. "You look a little confused. Allow me to elaborate."

"Y'know when you tried to do that spell and curse those girls cause' they hurt your wittle feelings? Yeah, you actually did it wrong. You said the incantation incorrectly, and that screwed up the entire spell.~ Therefore summoning me!" Kokichi explained. "W-What? No way! I reread that incantation 3 times! There's no way I messed up-" Himiko tried to justify but was promptly interrupted by Kokichi. "Hun, if you did it correctly then I wouldn't be here right now." Himiko opened her mouth to debate but quickly closed it, defeated. "Nyeh, so I flunked the spell. So what? Why did you have to come to my room?" The creepy smirk appeared on Kokichi's face once again. He got up and approached Himiko, stopping inches away from her face. Himiko flinched in response.

"For someone who's obsessed with the occult, you sure lack a lot of basic knowledge." He berated, unable to pass up the opportunity to insult the poor mage. "Whenever using dark magic it's important to salt the area, or else you risk demons and other malicious spirits coming to haunt you. Guess what you forgot to do?" Himiko's eyes widened in realization. She was immediately smacked full force with a massive wave of despair. 'How could I forget the salt!! I'm so stupid!!' She whined internally. The one most important component, completely disregarded. Himiko smacked her hands against her face in anguish. Kokichi grinned sadistically while watching Himiko's suffering. He couldn't help but laugh. "Now that you know your mistake, it's only fair you accept your punishment.~"

Himiko just sighed. "Ah, yes. I'm ready for you to annoy me for all of eternity." She grumbled sarcastically. Kokichi tilted his head in confusion. "Hm? Actually I'm supposed to drag you to hell and torture you for all of eternity. Hope you're not to disappointed." He explained with a unbothered smile.

Himiko's eyes immediately shot open upon hearing that. "H-hold on, what??" She stuttered, at a loss for words. Kokichi absentmindedly picked up one of the books lying on Himiko's floor. "Why're you so surprised? What else would a cute demon randomly appear in your house for? Or maybe you were hoping for a different scenario?~" He snickered. Himiko's heart pounded in fear, frantically thinking of ways to get herself out this situation. "Okay listen! Yeah, I tried using dark magic to curse two girls, but it wasn't without good reason! There's no need to use such drastic measures of punishment!" She fumbled. Kokichi gave another one of his creepy chuckles, deeply amused by how pathetic the small mage looked. "The curse isn't the reason why your being punished. I'm a demon for hell's sake, why would you think I care about morality? You're being punished for the incorrect use of dark magic." Kokichi began to explain, still examining little trinkets and decorations that were haphazardly scattered across the floor.

"Dark magic is a very prestigious type of witchcraft. It's been practiced by witches for centuries. For an idiot to come along and just desultorily use it is blasphemous to witches everywhere! That's why I've gotta' punish you! No hard feelings, right?" Himiko's eyes widened in fear- or was it just bewilderment? She understood that she failed the ritual, but isn't this this is a little harsh? "B-but Mr. Demon, I mean Mr. Kokichi, I'm just a baby witch! I don't have a master or any experience, all the knowledge I have came from google and random forums online, I swear!" Himiko justified, frantically waving her arms in the air.  "It isn't fair to have me endure such cruel punishment just because of one little mistake! I can still learn from it!"

Kokichi, preoccupied with a white tiger plushie smiled up at her. "Of course you can, by burning in hell for all of eternity! We already went over that!" He rebutted calmly. Himiko let out an anguished sigh. Clearly trying to reason with Kokichi wasn't going to get her anywhere. He's a sadistic demon for gods sake! He doesn't care about logic, he just wants to see someone suffer. Himiko slammed her palms on her face, frantically thinking of a way to get out of this predicament. Suddenly a genius idea hit her like a freight train.
