"Ryme City?" The Akids asked.
"Mmhm" The Professor nodded, explaining. "It's fairly new and quite a unique place, where people and Pokemon live and work together side by side. No battles, no trainers, no pokeballs"
"Whoa" David said.
"Cool" Ann sounded impressed.
"I think you guys should go there" The Professor suggested.
"Well, sure Professor. It sounds like fun" Kali said before turning back to her friends. "Right guys?"
"Oh, yes" Teeders smiled. "Think of all the new Pokemon we could find"
"And all the malls" Cynthia said excitedly.
"And the food!" Brock added.
"All right then" The Professor smiled before handing them something. "Here are your train tickets. They'll get you straight into the city"
"Thanks, Professor" Kali said, taking the tickets. And with that the Akids headed out the door, ready to start their new Pokemon journey.
Cecilia waited behind for a moment, looking into the fourth wall in sarcasm. "Gee, and here I thought the Professor was going to make us track down the Missingno Pokemon"
~We then cut to the train the Akids were on, heading to Ryme City~
Cynthia was reading a magazine. David and Brock were playing a board game to pass the time while Cecilia was checking over her collection of tiny animal bones.
"I wonder what kind of Pokemon we'll meet in Ryme City" Kali wondered.
"It says here they have Pokemon from all the different regions living there" Teeders said, looking up info from the Pokedex.
Ann was shown checking all the bags. However, something felt off to her.
"Guys, are we sure we brought all our Pokemon with us?" She asked.
"Yeah" The rest of the Akids replied.
Ann looked through the bags some more, finding all the pokeballs. But then, she discovered that one of them was empty.
"Uh, guys..." She started, showing them the empty pokeball. "Why is this one empty?"
The gang suddenly looked at the empty pokeball with wide eyes when Brock groaned. "Oh, no. Not again"
Just then...
"Does this Lickitung belong to anyone?" A male voice rang out.
Brock came rushing over with Teeders, Kali, and Cynthia to find his Lickitung licking a young man's face just a couple of seats in front of them.
"I'm so sorry!" Brock apologized. "He just really likes new people"
"No, no, it's okay" The young man said, wiping the spit off his face with a towel. "Your Lickitung has a very generous tounge"
The others gave Brock a bit of a scolding look as he returned Lickitung to its pokeball.
Kali gave an embarrassed smile, apologizing to the young man again. "Again, sorry about that"
The young man didn't say anything and simply nodded before the gang headed back to their seats.
"Why did you have to bring that disgusting thing along with us?" Cynthia glared at Brock, reffering to his Lickitung.
"Hey, not so loud! You know how sensitive he is!" Brock glared back at the fashionista. "You know he was abandoned by his previous trainer!"
Cynthia then rolled her eyes, giving a sarcastic. "I wonder why"
Just then, David got everyone's attention. "Hey, guys, check this out!" He called them over.
Everyone gathered around as there was a TV built into the back of the seat. They watched this welcome video explaining some infromation about Ryme City and its founder, Howard Clifford, who was hoping to create a stronger, more harmonious world with Pokemon.
"Wow!" The Akids awed as they soon looked out the window, spotting Ryme City come into view.
